You can still get the best Instant Pot deal of 2018
We have no idea how this is possible, but we also don’t want to shoot a gift horse in the mouth. So let’s just go with it, people! Last week, a deal appeared on Amazon that blew us all away. After the Instant Pot DUO80 8 Qt 7-in-1 Multi- Use Programmable Pressure Cooker went on sale at a very respectable $42 discount for Black Friday 2018, it some how went on sale at an even more impressive $61 discount for Cyber Week. We expected the deal to sell out quickly and thousands of our readers took advantage of the sale, which drops the largest version of Instant Pot’s most popular cooker to its lowest price ever. It didn’t sell out, though. In fact, it’s still available! You can still snag this 8-quart beauty for $79, which is actually $0.99 less than the price of the 3-quart model. We doubt this deal will be back anytime soon, so get in on the action while you still can.
And if you’re looking for a fancier model that integrates with your smartphone, the $150 Instant Pot Smart WiFi 6 Quart Electric Pressure Cooker is on sale today for just $90!

This might be our first look at an actual Galaxy S10 prototype
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S10 series in February, but we won’t have to wait that long to see the next Galaxy flagships. Samsung has never been able to keep any of the previous Galaxy S phones hidden from public view, and we already have images of a purported 5G prototype version of the phone, as well as an early clone, which indicates various parts are already in production.

Amazon just announced the best-selling Prime products of 2018 – did you get them all?
Amazon on Monday morning issued a press release in which it listed out the “Best of Prime 2018.” What does that mean, exactly? Bloomberg: The first 5G iPhone will launch in 2020 at the earliest
At least two smartphone makers have launched 5G phones this year, but the handsets aren’t exactly 5G-ready. Motorola was the first one, but its phone needs a 5G module that’s not available in stores — not that 5G networks are really available to potential customers right now. Xiaomi then said it’ll have a 5G version of its latest flagship in stores and teased the handset in previous weeks, but you can’t buy that phone. OnePlus, Samsung, and Huawei all confirmed they’re working on 5G handsets of their own, while Sprint partnered with LG and HTC for a 5G smartphone and 5G hotspot, respectively. Apple, however, isn’t expected to make a 5G iPhone until 2020. And that’s the best estimate, a new report says.

Galaxy S10’s stunning all-screen design imagined in new renders
Infinity-O displays are the talk of the town right now, and that’s because so many reports keep saying this is the kind of screen that will end up on the upcoming Galaxy S10 flagship. Samsung already unveiled this particular type of Infinity screen along five other versions at its SDC18, and that was just days after it teased the design with the help of an unannounced Galaxy A8s. On top of that, Chinese smartphone makers including Huawei and Lenovo are also expected to deliver smartphones with similar displays, although they’ll have different marketing names to describe all-screen displays featuring a circular camera cutout at the top instead of a thick bezel. It’s about to be the biggest trend in smartphones, and the Galaxy S10 will be one of the phones that starts it all.

British cops want to see if AI can prevent crimes, like ‘Minority Report’ in real life
Governments and entities around the world are starting to venture deep into Minority Report-land, giving serious attention to the use of artificial intelligence and scoring databases to assign risk in a way that influences the lives of ordinary people in profound, game-changing, and even slightly creepy ways.
We reported just last week about how the government in China is rolling out a “social credit” scoring system that central authorities are using to keep closer watch on the country’s 1.3 billion citizens and to limit the activities — like booking flights — of people deemed to be “untrustworthy” and assigned low scores as part of this system.

Top Apple insider says AirPods 2 will hit stores early next year
Though Apple’s AirPods were initially mocked due to a somewhat funky design, demand for the company’s wireless earbuds has continued to grow impressively with each passing month. And while Apple won’t divulge specific sales figures, reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that Apple may sell upwards of 28 million units by the time 2018 draws to a close.
Originally released in late 2016, Apple’s AirPods are nearly two years old at this point. Consequently, we’ve seen quite a few rumors surrounding a next-gen version of the wireless earbuds over the past few months. Though early rumors claimed that we’d see AirPods 2 hit store shelves sometime this year, a new investor note from Kuo relays that Apple will release a new iteration of AirPods sometime in early 2019.

That customer service agent you’re chatting with might be watching you type in real time
Big Brother is watching you, and so it seems are many customer service agents you chat with online. Apparently, they can see what you type in real time — everything you type, every time you erase and start over, all with most people generally unaware of the degree to which they’re being scrutinized.
Yes, those online agents are increasingly able to follow along with what you type before you ever click “send” — a button that Gizmodo’s ace privacy reporter Kashmir Hill went so far as to describe in a piece this week as just “an illusion.” What brought this up? Well, a number of things, actually.

Everything new coming to Netflix this week, and everything leaving (week of Dec. 2)
Now that Thanksgiving is over, and we have a temporary reprieve before we are once again surrounded by family for the holidays, we might as well cram in as much streaming as possible. Thankfully, Netflix is going to make that easy with over twenty new shows and movies for the first full week of December.
Some of the highlights are the first season of Blue Planet II, the first season of Syfy’s Happy!, and the brilliant alien movie District 9. There are a boatload of original series and films coming this week as well, but most of them appear to be relatively unfamiliar, other than Neo Tokio and The Ranch. But don’t fret — there are plenty of Christmas films coming, in case you’re looking to get into the spirit a few weeks early this year.
