There are a few vital elements to any great road trip. The most important is the vehicle, which happens to be the method of transportation from Point A to Point B to Point C and beyond. Next is the radio, creating the impromptu soundtrack to all the best road trips. Finally, the company — a road trip is just a long drive without good company. Forza Horizon 2 is as close to a virtual road trip as I’ve ever experienced, and best of all, this road trip never has to end.

One of the funniest moments in The Wire comes when Stringer Bell notices one of his gang’s members has been keeping minutes during a meeting about the foundation of a citywide alliance between rival drug dealers. Bell was obviously not pleased with this and incredulously asked him why he was “taking notes on a criminal f—ing conspiracy.” We were reminded of this scene when we stumbled upon a video of two kids from the U.K. who filmed themselves going into an Apple Store and bending its iPhone 6 models while thinking they would somehow never get caught even after they uploaded the video onto the Internet.

If you’re still using an iPhone 4S, odds are fairly good that you’ve learned to hold off on installing major software updates on your iPhone. While new versions of iOS bring great and exciting new features, they also can bring slowed performance or even bogging to older Apple devices. Early reports suggested that this was indeed the case for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 when Apple’s iOS 8 update was released earlier this month, and we even shared a way to roll back to iOS 7.1 for users who couldn’t deal with the performance issues.

Now that two updates have been released for iOS 8, however, it may finally be safe to update those older devices.

Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus debut was the biggest launch in the history of smartphones. Through the new handsets’ opening weekend alone, Apple sold more than 10 million combined iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units, topping the 9 million iPhone 5s and 5c handsets the company sold during their debut weekend in 2013. It may seem as though Apple’s iPhone launch weekend didn’t see much growth this year, but that’s actually not the case at all — as we’ve noted before, the fact that the iPhone 6 didn’t launch in China changes things dramatically.

After Apple released iOS 8.0.2 to fix the iPhone 6 issues caused by the previous iOS 8.0.1 update, on Friday the first HealthKit-enabled apps started hitting the App Store, although the company did not put up a special Health apps section on its website that would help users easily discover those health and fitness apps that were updated with Health functionality features. Since then, a special Apps for Health section has been created inside the App Store, highlighting some of the first apps that include HealthKit functionality.

Samsung is out with a brand new commercial for a new product – the Galaxy Note 4 that’s supposed to soon launch in various countries including the U.S. – and the new ad is quite hilarious. The company doesn’t take any hits at Apple or other competitors, and it doesn’t even focuses on the phone in this over 4-minute long video. Instead, it simply uses the word Note a lot in funny ways.

Both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus come with bigger and thinner batteries compared to anything Apple has made before, but that doesn’t necessarily mean all iPhone 6 buyers will be happy with battery life on their devices.
