Earlier this month we brought you word of a secret diagnostic port on the Apple Watch that’s intended for Apple’s own internal use. However, that hasn’t stopped accessories manufacturers from designing their own Apple Watch straps designed specifically to take advantage of this unlisted six-pin port. Via AppleInsider, the team at Reserve Strap have spent some time designing a watch strap that fits into the port and now they’ve posted a video showing how the port can be used to charge the Apple Watch slightly more quickly than through Apple’s own inductive charging method.

Fans of the popular NPR podcast Serial have good reason to be excited. While it was always known that a second season of the podcast was in the works, we now have official word that there are not one but two new seasons being planned.
The news comes straight from the Serial team themselves, with series creator Sarah Koenig explaining that the upcoming seasons, while different from the first, will be “no less interesting.” As it stands now, it remains to be seen what topics Koenig and her team will be exploring.

Google on Thursday announced Android M, its next major Android release that focuses on significantly improving overall user experience across the operating system. One of the new features the company announced is fingerprint sensor support, which will let users both securely pay for products with Android Pay and also log into various services. To further help with the latter task, a password manager app has already announced that it’s ready to support Google’s newest Android security feature.

Google unveiled Android M on Thursday, but we know from history that this won’t be the platform’s final name — instead, it’s going to be named after some kind of delicious dessert. An eagle-eyed Redditor over at the Android subreddit noticed that one of the Googlers on stage at I/O 2015 Thursday had an Android Wear watch that just happened to feature a picture of a milkshake on its display. Their conclusion? The next version of Android will be called “Android Milkshake.”

Games with Gold is back for another month of free games, and I can’t believe that Pool Nation FX is taking up a slot on the Xbox One side for the third consecutive month. There must be other Xbox One developers who want their games highlighted on Games with Gold. Pool Nation FX is a great game – the best pool simulator I’ve ever played – but three months is mind-boggling.
