The HTC One M9 is already looking like a disaster for HTC, which was seemingly caught off guard by all the major improvements that Samsung made with its Galaxy S6 line of smartphones. One of the biggest disappointments with the One M9 has been its camera, which reviewers have claimed is still miles behind flagship devices such as the iPhone 6, the Galaxy S6 and the LG G4. However, Forbes points us to a new study from the imaging experts at DxOMark showing that the One M9’s camera doesn’t even match the cameras of flagship phones released more than three years ago.

BlackBerry CEO John Chen recently offered some very good reasons for BlackBerry to keep making new phones, although he acknowledged at this point that he’s making them for a tiny audience. How tiny are we talking about? The latest numbers from Gartner show that BlackBerry is somehow still losing market share in the smartphone wars despite the fact that its overall share of the market has been well below 1% for the past year.

Google is rolling out an exciting new update to its searches that will answer your questions before you’re even done typing them. The answer will appear listed directly in the autocomplete dropdown options just like search suggestions do, The Next Web reports. That way, the user doesn’t actually need to finish the sentence, or even wait for regular search results to appear.

Though Google these days has its hand in everything, from robotics to advanced AI, the company’s billions by and large continue to come exclusively from advertising. More to the point, 90% of the $66 billion Google generated in revenue in 2014 came directly from advertising-related ventures
Not surprisingly, an increasingly important part of Google’s advertising machine is mobile search. In 2014 alone, 18% of Google’s ad revenue, or about $11.8 billion, came from searches done on mobile devices.

Many Mac users have complained about Wi-Fi issues since installing OS X Yosemite last fall, and Apple issued fixes in maintenance updates supposed to patch the wireless connectivity problems. In spite of those fixes, the problem persisted even after it became increasingly clear what Yosemite component was causing connection drops, and Apple did not publicly address the matter. However, Apple seems to be aware of the problem, and has finally fixed it in its newest Yosemite beta.

If your Android phone’s performance has gotten noticeably worse, it might be because it’s being plagued by a malicious app you’ve unwittingly installed. As GreenBot informs us, there’s actually a very good way to tell whether a third-party app is negatively affecting your phone’s performance by enabling a feature called Safe Mode.

If there’s one advantage Apple didn’t have when it released the iPhone, it was a head start. Years before the idea for the iPhone even crossed Steve Jobs’ mind, BlackBerry devices were absolutely killing it in the marketplace. Even Microsoft, which tends to get laughed at for missing important trends in the tech space, had been working on various Windows Mobile devices going all the way back to 2000.

While LEGO themed video games already exist, they’re not really teeming with violence and action.
