Nothing would excite astronomers more than to discover a planet somewhere out there with obvious signs of life, but it just hasn’t happened yet. Earth, we think, is pretty special in its ability to foster life, and as far as we know there’s a few things that are vital for life to exist, one of the big ones being liquid water.

Japan sent its Hayabusa probe to the asteroid known as Itokawa way back in 2003 and some seven years later it returned to Earth’s surface with a sample of the space rock stowed away inside. Those samples have been the subject of much interested in the scientific community, and now a new research paper reveals that the tiny specks of material contain something that could tell us a lot about our own planet: water.

For the most part, Samsung had managed to avoid any PR implosions since the Galaxy Note 7 incident of 2016, but now the electronics company appears to be facing two catastrophes back to back. Following the Galaxy Fold release date delay last month, some Galaxy Tab S5e owners are encountering a bizarre design flaw that makes it possible to accidentally block the Wi-Fi signal of the tablet by simply holding it the wrong way.

Citing several reports from around the internet, SamMobile claims that holding the lower-left corner of the Galaxy Tab S5e while the tablet is positioned horizontally (with the front-facing camera on the left) will block the receiver and slow your connection to a crawl, or even disconnect you from the network altogether.

We had our first hint this was coming thanks to a beta version of Google Maps from a few months ago, inside of which code was found that revealed Google was considering an excellent new privacy feature. And today, after getting a black eye from reports last summer that revealed Google was tracking and saving your location even when you thought you’d disabled the feature, Google announced the addition of a new privacy control available to users: Auto-deletion of your location history.

The feature, which is coming first to location history as well as to your web and app activity, will roll out in the coming weeks, according to a company blog post penned by Google Search product manager David Monsees and Google Maps product manager Marlo McGriff.
