Apple is reportedly preparing to launch a new and improved Beats Music service, and the impact could be felt throughout the industry. In fact, there have been rumblings for months now that Apple is trying to convince music labels to eliminate the free streaming tier on services like Spotify.
It indeed feels as though we’re on the cusp of some serious change in the streaming music market, but Spotify is apparently going to do everything it can to attract new business before Apple unveils its revamped streaming service next month.
