Apple on Monday announced that the iPhone 6s is actually on pace to beat the record preorders it received for last year’s iPhone 6, which racked up 10 million preoders within three days. In an official statement given to CNBC on Monday, Apple said it was seeing “very strong” demand worldwide for its newest iPhones that it unveiled at a major press event last week.
