Although Microsoft is still a powerhouse in the tech world, it still really needed Windows 10 to be a hit, if for no other reason than to wash the bad taste of Windows 8 out of everyone’s mouths. It looks like Windows 10 has delivered on that promise: Yusuf Mehdi, the corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Windows and devices group, announced on Wednesday that Windows 10 has been installed in more than 75 million machines since its launch less than a month ago.

Apple isn’t going to overtake Android in terms of market share anytime soon, but the company’s upcoming iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will apparently continue to hurt Google where it hurts most. A recent study from Phoenix and SessionM’s mXP platform reveals that as many as 12% of Android users are interested in the upcoming iPhone models and are considering a switch instead of sticking with or upgrading to a new Android device.

Major tech companies are ruthlessly competitive pressure cookers where employees are expected to log in much more than 40 hours a week.
