New Horizons isn’t done yet, and NASA is searching for its next target

%name New Horizons isn’t done yet, and NASA is searching for its next target by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

New Horizons gave NASA an amazing New Year’s gift when it sent back gorgeous images of the distant Solar System object Ultima Thule, which we now know is the very first contact binary every visited by man-made spacecraft. It’s been a fantastic few days for the New Horizons team, but the spacecraft is far from finished.

Now, even as NASA scientists prepare to download a massive collection of data collected during the Ultima Thule flyby, the spacecraft’s handlers are busy searching for its next target. The probe still has plenty of fuel to play with, and there’s no shortage of interesting objects in the Kuiper Belt, which is packed with debris of varying sizes.

Another blood pressure medication has been recalled over cancer-causing impurity

%name Another blood pressure medication has been recalled over cancer causing impurity by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We had no shortage of blood pressure medication recalls in 2018, with multiple companies issuing warnings over drug impurities that could cause cancer. It looks like that trend will continue in 2019 as yet another company has issued a recall of blood pressure tablets after detecting an impurity that may be cancer-causing.

This time around it’s Aurobindo Pharma USA Inc, which is recalling prescriptions of the drug Valsartan. Valsartan, you may remember, has been the subject of recalls due to such impurities in the past. The drug is sold by several manufacturers, and in July of 2018 almost a half-dozen companies were forced to recall their products due to the discovery of human carcinogens in the tablets.

With each day that brings us closer to the Avengers: Endgame premiere, we get more and more theories that look to explain what will happen in the movie that will conclude Phase 3 of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and set the stage for the upcoming new phase. Not all of them make perfect sense, no matter how amazing they might sound. The following theory is a great example, and it attempts to explain one of the huge mysteries following the events in Infinity War. There are a few reasons that we shouldn’t get too excited about it, despite how brilliant it is thanks to its involvement of a fan-favorite supporting character from the MCU.

%name This new leak is our best look yet at Samsung’s Galaxy S10 in the wild by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Samsung will finally take the wraps off its next range of flagship smartphones sometime in the next few months, but at the rate the leaks are spilling out, there won’t be much left to reveal by then. On Thursday, VentureBeat reporter Evan Blass shared what appears to be the first clear look at the Galaxy S10 (codenamed Beyond 1) in the wild. And while the screen has been blurred, the design appears to mirror what we’ve seen in leaks and reports.

By cutting out a small hole for the front-facing camera, Samsung was able to eliminate the notch.
