The Galaxy S10 isn’t official, but we already have a pretty good idea of what Samsung will offer fans come February. A slew of leaks and reports have revealed that Samsung is working on up to five handset versions, including two 5G models and a device with a flat screen, and that all these devices will come with new Infinity-O displays. That’s the marketing term Samsung uses for displays with punch-hole selfie cameras, a design that enables notch-less, all-screen smartphones. Accessory makers have already crafted screen protectors for the unreleased Galaxy S10 versions and we already saw a video revealing that the Galaxy S10+ will have a screen as big as the entire Galaxy Note 7. Now, a brand new leak shows us exactly how amazing Samsung’s new design really is.

Samsung insider teases ‘gorgeous’ Galaxy S10 finishes like nothing we’ve ever seen before

%name Samsung insider teases ‘gorgeous’ Galaxy S10 finishes like nothing we’ve ever seen before by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Information surrounding Samsung’s next-generation flagship Galaxy S phones has been leaking for so long that it’s starting to feel like they’ll never actually launch. Thankfully though, Samsung’s Galaxy S10 release date is fast approaching. The new Galaxy S10 series is expected to debut ahead of this year’s annual Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, Spain. If rumors pan out, three or four different versions of the phone will be unveiled initially, and then a fifth version that can basically be thought of as a “super Galaxy S10” will launch later in the year featuring an even larger display and compatibility with new 5G networks. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, however, because there’s enough to get excited about with Samsung’s initial batch of new Galaxy S10 phones.

After a terribly boring year for Samsung flagship phones in 2018, the company will completely turn things around in 2019 with some of the most exciting new smartphones we’ve seen in quite some time. The Galaxy S10 series will feature a new all-screen designs with much smaller bezels than the Galaxy S8 and S9, and the new design will be achieved without the use of the iPhone X’s notch that hardcore Android fans hate so much. But Samsung’s new camera-in-display tech apparently isn’t the only exciting new design element that Galaxy S10 owners will enjoy.

Apple may have not sold as many iPhones as it would have wanted during the Christmas quarter, but the iPhone remains the most coveted smartphone out there. And we know that thanks to Twitter, which keeps revealing that employees from Apple rivals as well as brand ambassadors some of these rivals hire to promote Android devices keep using the iPhone instead of the Android device you expect them to use. Just recently, Huawei employees in charge of one of the company’s Twitter accounts used an iPhone to send out New Year’s wishes to customers. And this time around, Huawei did not turn a blind eye to the whole thing.

Scientists taught AI to spot Alzheimer’s years before traditional diagnosis

%name Scientists taught AI to spot Alzheimer’s years before traditional diagnosis by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Alzheimer’s disease is a devastating brain disorder that has no known cure. Studies have shown that you can improve your chances of keeping it at bay by, say, drinking a lot of coffee, but that’s not going to eradicate the disease or make a positive Alzheimer’s diagnosis any less troubling.

As with any disease, early diagnosis can be a big advantage for doctors in treating Alzheimer’s, and drugs that combat the disease are most effective if used early on. Now, researchers from UC San Francisco have taught an AI to stop the signs of the disease in brain scans up to six years before a diagnosis would normally have been given.
