With the launch of HBO’s standalone streaming service hitting sometime next year, you may think that the traditional cable bundle is starting to come, well, unbundled. Cable and TV executives deny this is the case since the pay TV bundle has been a hugely lucrative business model for them and they want to keep the bundle around for many more years to come. New Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has done things very differently from the way former CEO Steve Ballmer used to do business, although toward the end of his term Ballmer recognized that Microsoft seriously needed to change to remain a dominant force in the tech world. Ballmer’s strategy was to reposition Microsoft as a “devices and services” company that would produce its own hardware that acted as a showcase for its software and services such as Microsoft Office, Azure and more.

Samsung is continuing its Galaxy Note 4 marketing push with new humorous ads that also happen to show some of the highlights of the phone, with a particular focus on one of the features that differentiates the Note series from other smartphones, the S Pen. Part of Samsung’s Do You Note? series, the three new short ads have already been posted on Samsung Mobile’s YouTube account, and can be seen after the break.

Most ISPs were quick to denounce President Obama’s net neutrality plan in apocalyptic terms on Monday, which isn’t too surprising considering they were really looking forward to being able to charge extra for Internet fast lanes under FCC chairman Tom Wheeler’s plan. That said, there was one ISP that not only declined to attack the new net neutrality proposal but embraced its principles as ones that every ISP in the United States should follow.
