In the wake of Apple’s WWDC announcements, a new video aims to show why the Apple of today is no longer the innovative company it once was. As you’ll see below, the video cherry picks a number of recently introduced iOS features and services that have existed on other mobile platforms for years now.

While the notion that Apple has lost is innovative spirit is absurd (more on that later), there were a few moments during the keynote where I thought to myself, “Hmmm, I’ve definitely seen this before.”

There were plenty of flashy reveals at the WWDC 2015 keynote on Monday, but one of the least heralded announcements could change the way we download apps forever. The HTC One M9 isn’t a bad device by any stretch of the imagination but it’s nonetheless going to go down as one of the biggest smartphone disasters ever alongside the Amazon Fire Phone and the BlackBerry Storm. How bad has the One M9 been for HTC? Consider that since it first unveiled the One M9 back in March, HTC’s shares have lost nearly half of their value. Tesla in recent years has done an impressive job of quelling the notion that driving an electric car is a risky proposition. This is largely due to the Tesla Model S (which sports an impressive range of approximately 250 miles) and Tesla’s ever expanding fleet of Supercharger stations. As a result, Tesla owners these days can drive their vehicles across the country with ease, stopping at strategically positioned charging stations along the way.

Creating a device to improve the efficiency of popping open bottles of beer — could anything be more German? OK, so technically the men behind this exciting beer-opening technique are Swiss, but they are speaking German in the video they posted of their creation, so that’s good enough for me. At any rate, YouTube user Christoph Nick has posted a video showing a Swiss man opening five of his friends’ beer bottles at once by using five different rulers that he’s arranged in a star shape within his clenched fist.
