Late last week, photographer Ryan Heywood posted an utterly strange video to YouTube that defies explanation. Titled “How to clean expensive camera gear”, the video shows Heywood running a Red Epic Dragon 6k, Canon 1DX, and some L series lenses through some water. It also shows him smothering the aforementioned equipment in sand.

We’ve seen a lot of reporting on the Ashley Madison hack lately that suggests the vast majority of female profiles on the website are completely fake. Now Inside Edition has scored an interview with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, who was paid to be Ashley Madison’s spokesmodel back in 2010 and who is now tossing bombshell allegations against the website charging that it’s run by “scam artists.”

Recent leaks have suggested that Google’s 2015 Nexus 5 handset will be a lot more affordable than last year’s pricey Nexus 6. While actual pricing details have not been offered by sources familiar with Google’s plans, there have been indications the phone will have sub-flagship specs, which generally means it’ll be friendlier to your wallet just as the original Nexus 5 was back in 2013.

While we’re heard plenty of complaints about Windows 10 when it comes to Microsoft’s privacy policies, that hasn’t stopped people from installing the new software on their PCs at a truly impressive rate. The newest data from NetMarketShare shows that Windows 10 has already been installed on 5.2% of desktop computers, which is all the more remarkable when you consider Windows 10 had a market share of 0.0% just one month earlier.

With rumors that Apple has plans to launch a TV subscription service in early 2016, we’ve now seen reports that the company also has its eyes set on perhaps entering the world of original content.
As we reported yesterday, Apple executive Eddy Cue and members of his team have been meeting with Hollywood executives in an effort to gauge their interest in producing original content. While the seriousness of such discussions remains unclear at the moment, one source told Variety that Apple’s ultimate goal is “to create development and production divisions that would churn out long-form content to stream in a bid to compete with Netflix.”
