Tesla has added an SUV to its fleet in the form of the Model X, a new car that the company is describing as “the SUV uncompromised.” The car’s most striking feature is its Falcon Wings doors that open vertically and “allow easy access to second and third row seats from any parking space.” On the insider, the Model X features all-wheel drive and enough seating space to fit seven adults. The car has a 90 kWh battery that delivers 250 miles of range per charge and it goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds, with a maximum speed of 155 miles per hour.

The iPhone 6s hasn’t even been out a week yet but some are already looking forward to next year’s iPhone 7. While the Android world this week has been all about Google’s new Nexus devices, BlackBerry generated some buzz on Tuesday by releasing the first official photos of the BlackBerry Priv, its first-ever Android phone that will release later this year. Starting with the 2005 iPod Nano, Apple has tried to adhere, whenever possible, to an annual release cycle for its more mobile products. Most prominently, we’ve seen this with the iPhone which, rather impressively, has remained on a strict 1-year refresh cycle ever since it debuted back in 2007. The only slight blip on Apple’s resume in this regard was the iPhone 4s which launched about 16 months after the iPhone 4.

That said, when might we expect the Apple Watch 2 to hit store shelves? Though Apple has been keeping a busy pace with all things Apple Watch, what with the release of watchOS 2, new watch bands, and new partnerships, the rumor mill has been surprisingly quiet with respect to when new Apple Watch hardware might see the light of day.

Back in the ’90s before HBO turned the TV world on its head with killer original shows like The Sopranos, the Fox network was often the go-to place where you could find outside-the-box shows that weren’t focus grouped to death like many of those that ran on NBC, ABC or CBS. One of Fox’s best finds from that era was The X-Files, a supernatural drama that was a critical and commercial hit for several years before eventually sputtering out in its last couple of seasons. Fox is going to revive the show as a six-episode miniseries early next year and the network has now put out its first promos for the new series, much to the excitement of sci-fi fans everywhere.

Next year, the Federal Communications Commission is expected to hold an auction for spectrum on the 600MHz band, which is prime real estate for wireless carriers that want contiguous low-band spectrum for their wireless services. Sprint, however, will not be taking part in it. You may find this strange since Sprint has traditionally languished behind AT&T and Verizon in network quality for years — shouldn’t it want to get as much high-quality spectrum as it can? However, Sprint already has a giant pile of spectrum in its portfolio that it’s just now using to its fullest potential.
