After leaving fans with half a dozen story threads to ponder over at the end of last season, HBO has done a pretty good job of supplying Game of Thrones fans with trailers and clips to keep them occupied in the weeks leading up to season six.
That trend continued on Wednesday when the official Game of Thrones Facebook page shared an incredible 360-degree recreation of the famous opening credits sequence, filled with easter eggs for fans of the show.

Augmented reality is closer than ever to becoming an everyday technology that all of us use on a regular basis. Snapchat on Wednesday rolled out a great new augmented reality feature called 3D Stickers that promises to put augmented reality in the palm of your hand. With 3D Stickers, you can pin virtual objects to real objects in videos you make and have them stick on them no matter where they move.

Reddit’s Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) sessions can be very entertaining as a variety of people hold these digital meetings where they would answer questions from curious Reddit fellows. But Henry Flescher’s AMA is a heartbreaking one, detailing some of the cruelties of the second World War.
Flescher, a 92-year-old Holocaust survivor, hosted the Reddit AMA session in early April with the help of his grandson, who insisted that he share his Holocaust survival story with the world.

I heard an interesting debate the other day regarding whether or not movie stars are replaceable as it pertains to film quality. In other words, would Deadpool have been any less or more cool with Matt Damon as the lead as opposed to Ryan Renyolds? Does a film like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button need the acting prowess of Brad Pitt, or would the film have worked just as well with an equally competent actor no one had ever heard of?
Even if we assume that most actors are replaceable, it’s hard to deny that there exists a small contingent of actors who are so talented – i.e Sean Penn in Milk or John Malkovich in In the Line of Fire – that it’s near impossible to imagine them being replaced by anyone else without affecting the resulting film. On top of this, some actors just have a knack for knowing how to pick the right type of projects that really enable them to show off their acting chops.

At CinemaCon on Tuesday night, Sony revealed that the next reboot for one of Marvel’s most beloved characters would indeed be titled Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is the title that leaks suggested earlier this month.

When photos recently leaked showing an unreleased smartphone that looked exactly like an iPhone, it stood to reason that people would jump to the conclusion that the device was… the unreleased iPhone 7. And that’s exactly what happened back in March, when images from an Eastern manufacturer leaked and showed a smartphone that looked exactly like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, but with a thinner housing and redesigned antenna lines on the back of the device. Hilariously, the marketing boss from Android vendor Meizu actually had to come out and post a picture of an unreleased Meizu phone to show that the phone in question wasn’t the iPhone 7, but instead an upcoming phone from his company.
Well, the Meizu Pro 6 has now been unveiled and just as we all thought it would be, it’s a shameless iPhone ripoff. But believe it or not, it’s even more shameless than we were expecting.
