The rumors were true: Apple juts sent out invitations for its next media event which will take place on Thursday, October 16th at its Infinite Loop Campus in Cupertino, California. Apple already released the second beta version of iOS 8.1, its first major update for iOS 8 that’s expected to bring various important features advertised for iOS 8, but which were not part of Apple’s initial software release. There’s a real question about whether or not bent iPhone 6 Plus models are actually a common occurrence but there’s no doubt that some models do seem to be bending for users under regular use. October will be a very busy month for Android fans who are looking forward to seeing Google release the final version of Android L alongside the release of the Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus 6 smartphone. Android Police‘s founder Artem Russakovskii took to Google+ to post a rumor about the potential launch of various products, including the Nexus 9 and Android L, and he says that both devices could be publicly unveiled on October 15th.
