Most tellingly, Calabrese has mentioned licorice on multiple occasions, which strongly implies that it will be the name of Google’s next mobile platform release.

On Wednesday afternoon, I had the opportunity to demo a slate of upcoming games from Square Enix, the ever-expanding publisher / developer behind some of the most iconic franchises in the industry. As expected, the company has all of its bases covered once again in 2014, but a few titles stand out, compelling curious fans of the studio to experience something that breaks from tradition. These are the impressions of one of those games.

As of this Thursday, New York Comic Con is once again in full swing. A spin-off of the popular California convention, NYCC has taken on a life of its own over the past several years, drawing in thousands of attendees from all over the country. It’s still not nearly as important to the movie industry as the San Diego convention, but comic book fans will still find plenty of incredible artifacts at the Javitz Center.

The silliest messaging app ever created might be Ethan, available as a free download from the App Store, that only serves one strange purpose, and that’s to communicate with Ethan… and Ethan alone.
