The reason the “bend test” videos for the iPhone 6 Plus went viral is that they raised questions about whether the device would bend just from carrying it around in your pants pocket. This shouldn’t be a concern for anyone who owns an iPad Air 2, since the tablet was never intended to be carried around in your pants pocket and we can’t imagine any reason for a sane person to do so. All the same, that hasn’t stopped YouTuber Marvin Macht from putting the iPad Air 2 through a bend test of his own and the tablet predictably did not hold up well under pressure.

The sudden success of T-Mobile has been impressive. With an energetic CEO and some of the most competitive pricing in the industry, the “Un-carrier” has made a big splash, convincing thousands of smartphone owners to drop their plans and make the switch. There’s only one problem: T-Mobile’s coverage still doesn’t match up with that of Verizon and AT&T.

After initially showing off iOS 8 during its annual WWDC event this past summer, Apple finally released the software in September and then issued its first major update earlier this month. iOS 8 and iOS 8.1 represent huge steps forward for Apple’s mobile devices, bringing tons of great new functions to compatible iPhone and iPad models. Features like audio messaging, the new QuickType keyboard and Apple’s Continuity functionality are all awesome additions to iOS, but of course there is still plenty missing from Apple’s mobile platform.

Now that Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop software is official, it’s time to take a look at a few key features found in Google’s latest and greatest that are sadly still absent in iOS.

Even though the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch was a great success for the company, with 2014 iPhones registering record sales according to Apple, several issues have stained Apple’s iPhone 6 launch, including iOS 8 software problems and the #Bendgate mess, to name just a few. More recently, it was discovered that the iPhone 6’s plastic antenna covers also come with one unexpected flaw. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS! This free app is a fantastic alternative to Google’s game-changing email app ‘Inbox’

%name YOU NEED TO TRY THIS! This free app is a fantastic alternative to Googles game changing email app Inbox by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Rumors swirled last year suggesting that Google was trying to acquire email startup Mailbox, but all that came to an end when Mailbox was acquired by Dropbox. So, Google decided to build its own Mailbox. Unveiled and released earlier this week, “Inbox” is Google’s new email app that has tech bloggers buzzing, once again heralding a fresh take on email as a game-changer. We have used the app ourselves and there’s no question that Google has done a terrific job so far of aping many of the best features from Mailbox and dumping them into a gorgeous interface with some great new features.

Inbox is an early beta and it still has a long way to go before it can be considered a complete email solution, and for the time being it only works with personal Gmail accounts. Also, the service is accessible only by invite, though invitations are fairly easy to come by (go here and click the link in the top right corner to request an invite).

Are you looking for a similar solution that’s even more comprehensive and works with a wider range of email services? We might have just the app you’re searching for.

I am writing these words on a MacBook Pro. There are many like it, but this Mac is mine. My MacBook is the tool I use most in my life. My MacBook, without me, is useless. Without my MacBook, I am useless. I have learned all about its weaknesses, its strengths, its features and its accessories. I think I have mastered it, and managed to fix various issues to help keep it usable even though it’s an older machine — I even saved it from what could have been a fatal coffee incident, I swapped out the RAM and I replaced the hard drive with an SSD to speed it up.

But thankfully, I never had to deal with a major issue that Apple will not acknowledge and isn’t willing to fix, and which I certainly wouldn’t be able to repair on my own.

Apple’s rumored 12.9-inch iPad model, referred to unofficially as the iPad Pro, is supposed to arrive at some point in 2015 according to certain reports, while others say the device is not considered “official” at Apple yet. Assuming Apple is going forward with iPad Pro plans, the gigantic tablet won’t be the only tablet to sport a bigger than 10-inch display next year. Digitimes has learned from Taiwan-based suppliers that several companies are working on large-size tablets supposed to launch next year in the first or second quarter.

Where you should live if you want America’s fastest Internet service

%name Where you should live if you want America’s fastest Internet service by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

What parts of America have the fastest broadband connections? The short answer is “Delaware.” The slightly longer answer is “somewhere in the northeastern U.S.” The Connectivist has posted data of peak connection speeds for every state in America and has found that the fastest services are in the eastern part of the country, led by Delaware and followed by Virginia, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, New Jersey and Connecticut. In fact, the only state in the top 10 that isn’t on the eastern seaboard is Washington, which has a peak connection speed of 56.6Mbps.
