As reported by Variety on Wednesday, LeBron James and his production company SpringHill Entertainment have reached an agreement with Warner Bros. which will have the NBA All-Star appearing in future movie, TV and digital projects.

James already made one appearance on the silver screen this year in Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck, but this new partnership could bring the athlete into our theaters and our living rooms far more often. And even though the studio wasn’t willing to share details about any specific projects in development, we think we know of at least one.

YouTube has just fixed the most annoying thing about your homemade iPhone or Android videos — you know, the ones you record when you are foolishly holding your smartphone vertically. Viewing vertical videos on YouTube is an unpleasant experience, to say the least, but Google has taken steps to fix it, at least for Android users.

As a depressive Nirvana-loving teenager in the ’90s, Chucks were my shoes. What made them so awesome was that they were both fairly cheap and they never seemed to go out of fashion. When you picked up a pair of Chucks, you knew what you were getting because Converse never bothered to make any superficial design changes to them in a cheap effort to goose sales. Now, however, Converse has decided that Chucks need an update for the 21st century and has given them their first redesign in 98 years.

We’ve written about the Nova Launcher Android app before but this in-depth review from Android Central made us want to plug it all over again. For those of you who don’t know, launchers in general are like Facebook Home but 1,000 times less terrible — they take over your phone’s main home screen and make some great improvements to the design while also giving you added customization options. Android diehards have long had high praise for Nova Launcher, which just seems to get better and better with each new release.
