FEATURED — The worst thing about the iPhone 6s
After a week with the new iPhone 6s, it has become beyond clear that Apple did a fantastic job on this year’s iPhone. The speed increase is just incredible and the big new feature additions are winners. I have already integrated 3D Touch into my regular usage and it really does deliver on Apple’s promise, letting the user perform common tasks far more quickly and simply. The new camera is outstanding, easily among the best on the market, and there are plenty of other features to fawn over.
Of course, nothing is perfect and the iPhone 6s definitely has some flaws.
I’ve already published my full in-depth iPhone 6s review, and I covered the best thing about Apple’s new iPhone earlier today. In that article, I explained that the best thing about the phone surprised me — but unfortunately, there’s nothing surprising about the iPhone 6s’ worst feature.

Apple has as secret team of specialists that address iPhone 6s problems as soon as they arise
Apple’s new iPhone 6s models have been out for a week now, and thankfully, we haven’t yet seen any type of ‘-gate’ scandal rear its ugly head. At the same time, that’s not to say that some users haven’t been experiencing some frustrating usability issues here and there.
As we’ve been detailing over the past couple days, some of the more common iPhone 6s issues to arise include exceedingly hot Touch ID sensors, 3D Touch quirks, and in some instances, phones that randomly turn off for no apparent reason.

We’ve all heard stories about dolphins helping out humans in distress before but this is the first time we can recall seeing a dolphin rescue a distressed gadget. A video posted by WORLD NEWS HD shows a dolphin swimming to the surface of the water with an iPhone in its mouth that it then hands back to the woman who accidentally dropped into the ocean moments before.

It’s not just you: iPhone 6s owners are saying their phones shut down randomly
It seems that many iPhone 6s users are experiencing a particularly annoying problem: The device seems to shut down randomly even when there is plenty of juice left in the batteries.
MacRumors notes that complaints about this problem have been spotted on Reddit, Apple support forums and the blog’s own forum pages, so it sounds like this is a reasonably widespread problem. In a nutshell, users have found that their devices shut down completely for no reason, and that only holding down the power button and home button for 10 seconds will get their phones to restart.

Google will officially become Alphabet later today
Attention investors: As of 4 p.m. on Friday, Google will be no more. In its place will be Alphabet. At the close of trading Friday, Google shares will officially stop trading as Google shares and will instead trade as shares of Alphabet Inc. To make matters more confusing, it seems these shares will be traded under the same GOOG stock ticker symbol.

Comcast’s brilliant plan to make you accept data caps: Refuse to admit they’re data caps
Comcast has a problem: It wants to implement data caps but it knows customers hate data caps. Its solution: Call them something other than “data caps.” As DSLReports points out, Comcast is bringing its capped data plans to lucky customers in Florida while simultaneously insisting that it isn’t implementing data caps.
