The very first demo I had a chance to play at E3 2015 this year was Halo 5’s new multiplayer mode, Warzone. It’s completely unlike the 4 v 4 Arena mode you’re used to, fusing player vs. environment elements with 12 on 12 multiplayer combat. If standard multiplayer isn’t dynamic enough for you, Warzone might be what you’re looking for.

Apple is widely expected to launch two new iPhone 6s versions this fall that’ll be very similar to their predecessors when it comes to overall design. However, a well-connected insider who has been accurate with early details about previous iPhone releases says the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus won’t be exact replicas of previous models, and we should expect several key changes.

Earlier this month, Cleveland Indians slugger Brandon Moss drilled his 100th career home run, only to see the ball land in the Indians’ bullpen where the pitching staff decided to hold the ball for ransom in exchange for a laundry list of demands that included an assortment of Apple products, from iPhones and iPads to Macs and Apple Watches.
When Apple became aware of the Indian pitchers’ Apple-centric ransom demands, Apple’s marketing team went to work. So at WWDC last week, Tim Cook referenced the story and said that Apple would deliver all of the items in question.
As we highlighted yesterday, Samsung recently tried to pull off the same stunt with Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer tweeting out that the Indians pitching staff wanted an assortment of Samsung products in exchange for Moss’ first hit ball. But as it turns out, Bauer’s tweet was embarrassingly sent from an iPhone.
Sadly, this is just the latest example in a long list of Samsung advertising and PR fails. You would think Samsung would learn by now that paying celebrities to temporarily espouse the virtues of all things Samsung is nothing more than a recipe for disaster.

Oh my. The Federal Communications Commission on Wednesday issued a massive smack down against AT&T for offering consumers “unlimited” data plans and then severely throttling their speeds once they reached certain limits every month. In all, the FCC hit AT&T with a huge $100 million fine for allegedly misleading consumers, although AT&T has vowed to not take this lying down.

A very serious security flaw in Apple’s iOS mobile platform and its OS X desktop operating system has been discovered by security researchers and seemingly acknowledged by Apple. Using the flaw, hackers can build an app that is capable of stealing any and all passwords saved in Apple’s Keychain. Additionally, the same flaw can reportedly be used to steal passwords directly from third-party apps as well as Apple’s own apps.
