‘Mad Max’ Expands on the World of the Movie in Fun and Unexpected Ways
Avalanche Studios is launching two games this fall. They’re both set in vast, open worlds. They both thrive on destruction. They both star gruff dudes in a foreign landscape, intent on toppling the evil forces that rule the land.

Everyone Who Died in Game of Thrones Season 5
Forgive me if I get emotional. I’m not sure how the season finale of Game of Thrones could have been any more intense than it was. The tension leading into the final episode of season 10 had reached fever pitch, and there wasn’t a moment’s rest in the entire episode. I might have actually been sweating by the time the episode was over. And the death toll, while not unexpected, left viewers reeling.

I’m not what you’d call a hardcore gamer, but I definitely play lots of mobile games of all types and I’m already very excited to try out some of the titles that various studios announced at E3 2015. Of those, six stand out and are likely to become quite popular with smartphone and tablet owners. Sadly for Android fans, many of them might hit iPhone before they’re launched in the Google Play Store, but Android support is surely down the road.

We’re Running out of Water
It’s not happening today or tomorrow, but we’re slowly running out of water, new NASA data shows. Looking down at the planet using its GRACE satellites over a period of ten years, the researchers at NASA discovered that more than half of Earth’s 37 largest aquifers are being depleted at an alarming rate, far faster than they can be replenished.

What Netflix Subscribers Want More Than Anything
Following reports that Netflix was experimenting with pre- and post-roll video ads in certain markets, Netflix allayed our fears and said that they have “zero intention of putting ads on our platform.” Which is good to hear because if there’s one thing Netflix’s passionate userbase hates with a passion, it’s advertisements.
But as it turns out, there is something Netflix could introduce which would seemingly convince most users to reluctantly put up with third-party ads — a deeper library of movies and TV shows.

600 Million Samsung Galaxy Devices At Risk After Huge Security Flaw Discovered
Earlier today, while speaking at the Blackhat Mobile Security Summit in London, security researcher Ryan Welton of NowSecure disclosed a software vulnerability in Samsung phones that could potentially put upwards of 600 million devices at risk.
