Apple fires back at Spotify and disputes claim that it’s stifling innovation

%name Apple fires back at Spotify and disputes claim that it’s stifling innovation by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Without question, Apple’s launch of the App Store back in 2008 forever changed the way we interact with our phones. The proposition that the App Store offered at the time was incredibly compelling insofar that developers were given access to the entirety of Apple’s iOS user base in exchange for a 30% cut of all revenue earned.

Since then, Apple has doled out more than $120 billion to developers while earning a pretty penny for itself in the process. The mobile landscape in 2019, however, is a lot different than it was back in 2008. These days, developers aren’t as keen on giving Apple a 30% cut off the top and some companies are speaking out about it. What’s more, some companies are not too thrilled with the way Apple manages the App Store in general.

Benchmarks for Apple’s ARM MacBooks might have leaked, and the scores are incredible

%name Benchmarks for Apple’s ARM MacBooks might have leaked, and the scores are incredible by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Apple is working on MacBooks with ARM processors, several recent leaks have claimed, although we’ve yet to see anything official from the company. What’s clear, though, is that the most recent iPhone and iPad chips deliver benchmark scores that are far superior to traditional laptops.

Apple already released an iPad Pro faster than most laptops, so it makes perfect sense for Apple to build versions of the same chips for its MacBooks. While we still don’t know when such devices will be ready for mass consumption, the first purported benchmarks for these macOS machines have emerged, teasing monster performance.
