How to enable Android M’s coolest secret feature
One feature we were hoping Google would show off with Android M on Thursday was the inclusion of multi-window functionality that would let you have multiple apps open at once on the same screen. While that sadly didn’t come to pass, Android Authority has done some fine detective work and has discovered a hidden multi-window feature in the Android M developer preview that Google never mentioned during its big Google I/O presentation. Even better, the website has put together a guide for enabling this feature on your Nexus 5, Nexus 6 or Nexus 9 device right now, although it warns that this is still a very experimental feature that will likely be riddled with bugs.

Lenovo is building a smartphone based on an iPhone hoax from 2012
Remember back in 2012 when a local Fox affiliate thought some crazy iPhone 5 concept with a built-in laser keyboard and hologram projector was real? The video featuring that iPhone concept phone has since amassed more than 69 million views on YouTube, and it looks like at least a few of those views were Lenovo employees.

AT&T’s sneaky plan to control what video streaming services you use
For a while now I’ve been very wary of AT&T’s “sponsored data” program that allows companies to pay AT&T money in exchange for their services being exempt from the carrier’s data caps. This has the potential to seriously distort the market for online services by giving AT&T outsize power to pick winners and losers — after all, what chance would an upstart video streaming company have against an established company if its users are constantly worrying about being hit with overage fees for using it?

Google’s killer cloud storage offer isn’t perfect: The biggest problem with Google Photos
As the old saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Google’s big I/O 2015 keynote took place on Thursday, and it lasted for more than two hours. As you might imagine, there was plenty of news shared on stage during the lengthy event and much of it was intriguing. When it comes to announcements that really made waves though, there were only a few to be found.
In terms of generating buzz, Google Photos was definitely somewhere near the top of the list. Google announced that it was releasing an updated version of its photo-hosting solution, and it now would offer unlimited storage for photos and videos.
It’s a pretty incredible deal indeed, but real photography fans might want to read the fine print before they get too excited.
