Sorry, Haters: Apple Isn’t Bullying Artists Into Signing Up for Apple Music
In an effort to get as many people as possible signed up for Apple Music, Apple will be giving users a free three-month trial period when the service launches on June 30. During this three-month window, Apple will not be handing over any royalty payments to music labels; and in exchange for this generous grace period, Apple has agreed to pay labels a royalty rate that’s a tad higher than the industry norm once the trial period closes.

Is The Galaxy S6 Stealing Away iPhone Users? New Survey May Surprise You
Results from countless studies have reiterated what we already know: Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are stealing away tons of business from Android. Now that there are finally iPhones with larger displays, many old iOS users who jumped ship to Android for bigger phones are now making their way back to the iPhone. Smartphone users who have always been in the Android camp are also starting to consider an Apple phone now that 4.7- and 5.5-inch iPhones are available.
But are mobile platform switchers heading in the other direction as well? The results of a new survey conducted between April 10th and early June suggest that while plenty of Android users are moving over to iOS, there are also a significant number of iPhone users who have been wooed away by Samsung’s latest flagship phone.

Newt Gingrich’s Apple Watch Review is Smart and Insightful – Here’s Why That Shouldn’t Surprise You
In case you haven’t seen it, Mashable has published a review of the Apple Watch written by former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Many people who thought that this would just be a cheap clickbait gimmick have come away surprised at how smart and insightful Gingrich’s review is about the device. But as a political junkie who has been following Newt’s career ever since he first rose to power when I was a teenager, I’m not surprised by this at all. In fact, gadget reviews are right in his wheelhouse.

Distraught Nintendo Fans Need to Chill Out: The New Wii U Games are Fun
Spending all my waking hours on the show floor at E3 2015, I’ve been out of the loop for the most part when it comes to the actual fan reactions from the announcements earlier this week. After Sony and Microsoft blew the doors off their respective venues, I assumed that Nintendo fans would be chomping at the bit for some huge revelations.
What they got instead was a blocky Metroid spinoff, a three-player Zelda game, an Animal Crossing board game and an English translation of an RPG that came out 25 years ago. Needless to say, Nintendo fans were unhappy.

The Man Who Reveals All of Apple’s Secrets
You can bet good money that the iPhone 6s will feature a 12 megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, a speedy A9 processor, a Force Touch display, a more durable aluminum build, a better performing Touch ID sensor, and will be available in Rose Gold.
While Apple rumors are a dime a dozen, the information above is all but a sure thing because it comes from none other than Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, an analyst with an almost unparalleled knack for revealing Apple’s hardware plans often months in advance. Kuo’s talent in this regard is astounding, not only because he’s been at it for years, but also because he’s been able to successfully telegraph Apple’s plans even in the face of Tim Cook’s pledge to doube down on product secrecy.

Why Didn’t Apple Tell You About These 10 Great New Features Coming to Your iPhone?
Apple’s WWDC 2015 keynote was an extremely long presentation that was packed full of details about its upcoming new software and services. As long as the event was, however, it could have been 10 times longer and Apple still wouldn’t have had enough time to fit in all of the great new features it added to its two software platforms, iOS and OS X.
Where iOS is concerned, Apple ran through some terrific-looking top-level highlights, but developers (and everyone else with an Apple developer account) have now had plenty of time to dig through the first iOS 9 beta, so details on new features that Apple didn’t cover at WWDC continue to trickle out.
