It’s hard to keep up with what Samsung is doing in the wearables space. In less than two years time, the company has released six, count em’ six!, different smartwatch models. On Monday, Samsung boosted that number to seven with the official unveiling of its Gear S2 smartwatch.

Let’s be honest: The only reason we tolerate mobile data caps at all is because we at least have wireline networks at home that we can fall back on. Comcast and other ISPs seem determined to end unlimited data for home networks as well, however.

Netflix, beware: Apple lost the bid for ‘Top Gear’ but it’s working on in-house TV and movie projects
Soon after the BBC fired Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson, it became clear the highly praised TV show will move to a different home, even if that meant starting from scratch under a new brand. Netflix was at one point rumored to be the company offering a killer deal to Clarkson and his two co-hosts, James May and Richard Hammond, but Amazon eventually secured that contract.
Little did anyone know that Apple has been involved in those negotiations as well, looking to steer Clarkson, May and Hammond towards Cupertino. This appears to be part of a broader Apple strategy of better positioning itself in the TV ecosystem.

These hit movies are switching from Netflix to Hulu in October
Netflix offers you fast access to a garden variety of movies and TV shows that you can instantly watch from the comfort of your home, but its catalog of titles continuously expands and contracts. The company adds plenty of new content each month but also has to cancel movies and TV shows as some licensing deals expire. Such will be the case in October when Netflix will remove a bunch of interesting titles from its library, so you should hurry up and see them in September.
However, it’s all not bad news, as the movies Netflix is removing will be available on a competing platform that you might already be using as well.

Apple Eyes Move Into Original Programming
The moment the media and technology industries have been expecting for years may finally be arriving: Apple is exploring getting into the original programming business.
Sources indicate the Cupertino, Calif., colossus has held preliminary conversations in recent weeks with executives in Hollywood to suss out their interest in spearheading efforts to produce entertainment content. The unit putting out the feelers reports into Eddy Cue, who is Apple’s point man on all content-related matters, from its negotiations with programmers for Apple TV to its recent faceoff with Taylor Swift.
An Apple representative declined comment.

‘Uncharted 4’ finally has a release date
The list of PlayStation 4 exclusives for the remainder of 2015 is worryingly slim, but gamers will be pleased to know that the elusive Uncharted 4 finally has a release date. Sony announced on Monday that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will launch on March 18th, 2016, along with a variety of limited edition packages.

You probably can’t wait to see Will Smith as Deadshot in the upcoming the Suicide Squad action movie, but the actor has one more exciting movie coming out before that. Called Concussion, the movie is based on real events that had a tremendous impact on the NFL and football players’ health.
Concussion will launch in theaters on December 25th, but the first trailer for it is available now.
