iPhone 6s and iPad Pro must be very scary: Samsung is back with more anti-Apple propaganda
If you see Samsung going into anti-Apple mode with its TV commercials for mobile devices, that’s likely because the iPhone maker is out with products that many people will buy instead of Galaxy devices. Samsung already trolled Apple with a clear anti-iPhone 6s message, and now it’s back with similar commercials that seem to take hits at Apple products. Samsung released two new ads in this latest round, one for Galaxy phones and the other for the Galaxy Tab S2 tablet.

Should Samsung and other Android vendors steal 3D Touch from the iPhone 6s?
Fact: iOS exists as it does today in large part because of Android, and Android exists as it does today in large part because of iOS. These two market-leading mobile platforms have always each played innovator and follower roles, and they will continue to do so as long as the both continue to thrive. The simple fact of the matter is that one company will never think of everything, so they take inspiration from each other quite often.
Last week, Apple showed off its latest innovations during its big iPhone 6s event, and 3D Touch was certainly one of the stars of the show. This got Android fans thinking… should Android vendors add 3D Touch to their phones?

How $20 can triple your iPhone’s battery life
Samsung ran a series of ads calling iPhone users “wall huggers,” and they were pretty annoying… mostly because they’re true. Apple’s iPhones do plenty of things very well, but it would be hard to find anyone who considers his or her iPhone a class-leader when it comes to battery life.
So, you can either switch to another phone with better battery life, or you can keep your precious iPhone and snag a 5,600 mAh AmazonBasics Portable Power Bank on sale right now for under $20 on Amazon.

Tesla is so, so screwed
Like with a lot of people, I have flirted with the idea of Tesla. Both as a company and as a potential car. I have built dozens of them on Tesla’s website. I have test-driven the car five times. Each time I drive one, it’s a great experience and it’s still hard to fully process how incredible of a job Tesla has done. From nothing to changing the entire car industry in just under a decade is mind-blowing.
But this theme that I have repeated at practically every chance I get when discussing Tesla keeps running through my mind and it’s an important one — when all the established car makers start going all-electric, what’s Tesla value proposition?
Their brand? Hardly anything other than the current owners of Tesla vehicles. Their technology? Those patents were released into the public domain. Their manufacturing process? You’re joking, right?
So seriously, what is Tesla’s play here as far as cars are concerned? Because I don’t see it.

Ride the fastest roller coaster in the world in VR right now before it opens in 2016
Personally, I’ve never been much of a roller coaster fan. The sensation of being jerked back and forth, flipped upside down and sent careening down a hill just doesn’t constitute a good time in my book, but I’ll be first in line to ride the record-smashing Valravn roller coaster at Cedar Point in Ohio — mostly because I don’t have to leave my bedroom to ride it.

Hands-on: The sleek aluminum iPhone 6 and 6s bumper we deserve is finally (almost) a reality
In the 12 months since Apple first released the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, we’ve featured more than two dozen different third-party cases for these phones. Longtime BGR readers know that this is a change for the site — we’ve never spent much time covering phone cases in the past. That changed with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, however, because cases became an absolute necessity when Apple decided to make its smartphones out of aluminum with the most slippery finish imaginable.
In all that time, however, we’ve been waiting for a bumper case made of high-quality aluminum that offered good protection while still maintaining the refined look of the iPhone 6. Well, it’s taken almost a year, but we finally found a case that comes as close as we’re ever going to get.

Google Maps for iPhone was just updated – here are the 4 key changes
With hundreds of millions of users all over the world, Google Maps is easily one of the most widely used mobile apps on the planet. As the company did with Gmail, Google completely changed an industry by disrupting it with free mapping and voice-guided navigation. And we’re not talking “disrupt” as in the meaningless startup buzzword. We’re talking “disrupt” as in Google changed the game and toppled industry leaders in the process.
But as expected, Google isn’t satisfied with simply changing the game. Instead, the company continues to improve Google Maps while rivals chase at its heels. And on Tuesday, Google released another new update for the iPhone and iPad version of its popular Google Maps app.
