With 2015 coming to close, we’re only a few months out from the beginning of the VR revolution. Facebook is working on its creepiest way to track you yet
Facebook and Google seem like they’re in a contest to see which can come up with the creepiest ways to keep track of its user base. Geek.com has spotted a new patent that was awarded to Facebook earlier this year that describes technology that can identify individual users’ phones based on unique camera lens defects that show up on the pictures they upload onto the web.

Because Google Chrome doesn’t have enough issues already, a security researcher has discovered that a specific string of text is capable of crashing the browser and deleting any unsaved work sitting in open tabs.

Watch the world’s largest passenger airliner make a scary crosswind landing
We’ve seen a bunch of airplane pilots making heart-stopping, death-defying crosswind landings, but that doesn’t make watching similar experiences any less scary, especially if you hate flying. A new video captured over the weekend in Dusseldorf, Germany, shows a huge Airbus A380, which happens to be the world’s largest passenger airliner, making such a landing.

New Gmail feature makes it easy to block annoying people – here’s how to use it
Email filters have existed forever. In fact, a few particularly annoying PR flacks probably would have driven me insane years ago had it not been for the ability to block their persistent pitches for clients whose products aren’t even close to being a fit for BGR. I’m sure everyone can relate — there are just always going to be some people you never want to hear from again.
