Remember the Coolest Cooler Kickstarter that became the most funded Kickstarter project in the summer of 2014? With more than $13 million in pledges, the Coolest surpassed the Pebble smartwatch by promising to become the high-tech cooler that the 21st century deserves. However, the company behind it failed to deliver the product on time. Fast-forward to spring 2016 and Coolest is asking backers who have not received their cooler to pay an extra $97 for “expedited delivery.”

You won’t have to wait until Rogue One releases in theaters this fall to catch another dose of big screen Star Wars. Earlier this week, Entertainment Weekly revealed that the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema chain will sponsor a traveling roadshow this summer with screenings of the original trilogy.

The FBI still hasn’t found any useful info on San Bernardino terrorist’s iPhone
It’s now been more than two weeks since the FBI hacked the iPhone belonging to one of the San Bernardino terrorists and the agency still has yet to find any pertinent information on the device. According to a law enforcement official who recently spoke with CBS News, the FBI continues to analyze the data found on Syed Farook’s phone even though nothing of interest has been discovered. And given how long the FBI has had unfettered access to the device, it stands to reason that nothing on the phone will be of any practical use to investigators.

Microsoft just took a big stand against the government over user privacy
Apple isn’t the only company that’s fighting with the government over user privacy these days. Via GeekWire, Microsoft has sued the United States Department of Justice and has asked a court to declare the government’s secrecy orders as unconstitutional. Microsoft says it objects to orders issued by the DOJ that say the company cannot inform customers when law enforcement officials are seeking access to customer information and data.
