Apple Music support might be coming to Google Home devices soon
Apple and Google might be mortal rivals when it comes to smartphone operating systems, but sometimes, it pays to work together. To that end, we weren’t exactly shocked to find out this week that Apple Music support is apparently in the works for Google Home devices. The option to add Apple Music as a linked provider in the Google Home app on iOS was first discovered by a MacRumors reader, which the site was able to confirm.
As MacRumors notes, Apple Music was previously listed under a “limited availability” section of the app, but has since moved over to the main Music settings screen under “More music services.” But despite the fact that it appears there alongside Pandora, Spotify, and others, it can’t actually be linked with a Google Home yet.

Hands-on with the best-looking traditional Android phone at MWC 2019
It happens every year when I swing by Sony’s booth at the Mobile World Congress: I leave impressed by its latest smartphones, especially the flagship model.
The same happened this week, as Sony unveiled three new phones at the show, including the Xperia 1, Xperia 10 series, and Xperia L3. And let me tell you this: The Xperia 1 is probably the best-looking traditional Android handset launched at the show. I say “traditional” for two reasons. First, because the Mate X is easily the best-looking smartphone of this year’s Mobile World Congress, but that’s a brand new form factor for the industry. Secondly, because the Galaxy S10 wasn’t technically unveiled in Barcelona, but rather in California a few days before the show.

Samsung is planning a super-exclusive, limited Galaxy Fold launch in April
We told you back in December that Samsung wasn’t going to be targeting the mass market with its super-expensive, ultra-luxe Galaxy Fold — the plan here is not for this to be some kind of iPhone-killer from Samsung.
The company has gone ahead and reiterated that point, confirming that it’s planning a press event in April dedicated to the $1,980 foldable phone which will be released towards the end of April in a limited quantity. The Verge caught up with Samsung UK’s director of product, services and commercial strategy, who told the outlet that the smartphone maker is planning a high-end, luxury rollout of the foldable — seemingly turning this into Samsung’s version of what Apple attempted with its 2015 launch of the Apple Watch Edition, which started at $10,000.

Iceberg twice the size of New York City is about to break free from Antarctica
NASA’s high-flying observational instruments are great at peering deep into space, but the agency also spends plenty of time staring down at our own planet, too. NASA has been hard at work in recent decades developing models and recording observations that show what’s happening to Earth, and now scientists are warning that a huge ice chunk is about to free itself from Antarctica.
A colossal crack forming on the Brunt Ice Shelf in Antarctica will soon cleave a chunk of ice twice the size of New York City, NASA says, and the increasingly unpredictable nature of the ice in the area could threaten research stations that have operated in the this part of Antarctica for decades.
