NASA has been to the Moon several times, but it’s been a while since the last visit. When astronauts explored the lunar surface during the Apollo missions they hauled back a whole bunch of Moon material for scientists to study back on Earth.

With decades having passed since the last manned Moon mission you might assume that any lunar samples NASA gathered back then had already been thoroughly studied by eager researchers. Well, you’d be wrong, and now after sitting for some 50-or-so years in storage, NASA is now releasing the lunar material samples to a number of research teams that were begging for the opportunity.

Every day, it seems, we learn new details about yet another experimental smartphone concept to emerge out of Samsung, and today is no different. Because it seems the South Korea-based smartphone giant is about to take its foldable phone ambitions to a whole new level, as the company seems to have an interest in bendable phone displays. Specifically, in displays that can be worn around the wrist — in effect, allowing a smartphone to double as a smartwatch alternative.

A patent Samsung filed along these lines last year with the World Intellectual Property Organization was published a few days and depicts this very thing, a phone with an elongated display that can also curl in one direction.

Days after the second fatal crash of a Boeing 737 MAX 8 airliner, airlines around the world have been forced to ground the vehicles until further notice. The crash, which was the second in just five months involving Boeing’s extremely popular new commercial jet, killed 157 people when it came down just minutes after takeoff in Ethiopia.

Thus far, the governing bodies for air travel in the UK, China, Singapore, and Australia have made the decision to temporarily restrict takeoffs of the popular aircraft. Individual airlines in South Africa, South Korea, Argentina and Mexico have also chosen to ground their 737 MAX 8s out of an abundance of caution.
