It looks like Microsoft’s efforts to attract a larger audience to the Xbox One are finally paying off. GamesBeat reports that in a recent note to investors, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter estimated that the Microsoft moved 325,000 Xbox One units in the U.S. last month while Sony ended the month with 250,000 PlayStation 4 sales.

Sprint announced on Tuesday that it would begin offering a “Loyalty Service Credit” for all of its existing customers that will allow them to lease a new iPhone 6 for just $5 a month without changing their plans. The iPhone 6 Plus comes in at $10 a month.

Apple’s reign as the maker of the world’s best smartphone camera may be short lived. Although the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus have both earned wide acclaim for their high-quality cameras, it looks like Samsung has similarly hit one out of the park with the camera for its Galaxy Note 4 phablet. PhoneArena snapped several pictures with several flagship smartphones and asked its readers to vote on which pictures looked the best without telling them which device took which picture. The results were a clear win for the Galaxy Note 4, although the iPhone 6 still finished better than the other flagship phones used in the survey.

Older generations might be disgusted by the recent massive nude celebrity photo leak and even more recent “Snappening” leak that saw thousands of nude Snapchat photos and videos hit the web. I hear and see comments all the time from people wondering why young teens and even people in their 20s continue to exchange naked pictures and videos when hacks like these are all too common. Just as many older generations don’t understand the selfie craze, we also tend to dismiss nude photo sharing, largely because it wasn’t part of our lives growing up. But the simple fact of the matter is this: Sharing nude photos and videos with smartphones is fun and exciting, and teenagers aren’t going to stop doing it, hacks or no hacks.
All of these security breaches may encourage teens to be a bit smarter about the services and technologies they use to exchange nudes, however, and a new iPhone app has found a brilliant way to help protect racy photos.

We don’t ever expect Apple to engage in a BlackBerry-style “tools not toys” marketing campaign for its devices, especially since history has shown that many people love the company’s “toys” just as they are. Apple has another big media event in just a couple of days, but that won’t stop Google from trying to sneak in some big news of its own. Forbes contributor Jay McGregor’s sources say that Google plans to unleash its huge Android L update alongside both the Motorola-made Nexus 6 smartphone and the HTC-made Nexus 9 tablet on Wednesday, right before Apple’s big Thursday iPad announcements.
