Google has had a tough time partnering with major U.S. carriers to sell Nexus devices, but things are about to change, at least for the upcoming Nexus 6 smartphone. The gigantic handset will be available for preorder beginning in late October from the Google Play Store, but also from all the major U.S. mobile operators, Google confirmed on Wednesday.

After months of speculation, the most popular answer turned out to be the correct one as Google unveiled Android 5.0 alongside a new range of Nexus devices. The company’s next-gen mobile operating system brings a new design language and a variety of features that should further improve your Android experience, assuming your device will get the Android 5.0 build eventually. Google on Wednesday took the wraps off the new Motorola-manufactured device, which as expected features killer specifications including a QHD display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1440 pixels (498 pixels per inch), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3,200mAh battery and Android 5.0.
