One of the common features of this year’s high-end Android handsets will be processor options, with top manufacturers likely to choose Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 System-on-Chip (SoC) for some of their best handsets scheduled to hit stores in 2015. For the past year, Google Glass has been on its way to being remembered as nothing more than a joke. Many of its early adopters have alternately been brutally ridiculed or have sworn off the device all together… and at least one early adopter had to be hospitalized because he used the device too frequently. Apple’s mobile platform may never support widgets on the home screen, which will always leave some of the more enthusiastic users out there wanting more. Another day, another unhappy Comcast customer. The International Business Times reports that Chicago resident and Comcast subscriber Keith Santangelo has filed a lawsuit against the company alleging that it ran an unauthorized credit check on him despite the fact that he paid the company a $50 fee to waive the check and that he explicitly told the company he didn’t want them to pull his credit report.
