You might not be aware of it, but the Apple Watch has a secret diagnostic port that’s for Apple use only. If you can’t spot it, that’s because it’s carefully hidden in the bottom side of the watch where the band slides in. And while you don’t need it for anything right now, it turns out that this special port has one very useful feature, which appears to be confirmed by a new leaked photo.

Bad news, Apple fans: you may wake up on Thursday to find that a whole host of Apple’s cloud-based services are completely down or at least slow to respond this morning. Apple’s service status page shows that 11 different services in total are experiencing downtime or are at least having problems that will cause them to perform slowly for some users.

It takes bees about three weeks to be fully born but a terrific new video posted by National Geographic Japan shortens that life cycle down to just over a minute. The stunning timelapse video filmed inside a bee colony shows eggs being laid inside individual cells, where they grow into larvae that get fed by worker bees. Once the larvae reach full growth after about two weeks, they’re sealed off in their cells and enter the pupa stage. At this point, it takes roughly one more week for them to emerge as fully formed bees.

We’ve all heard of the term PayPal Mafia, but that’s ordinarily used to reference some of PayPal’s earliest employees, not the company’s actual business practices.
Earlier today, PayPal agreed to fork over $25 million in damages stemming from shady business practices the company used to a) trick consumers into signing up for services that they didn’t really want and b) net more money in the way of fines and late fees than they were entitled to.
The list of PayPal’s offenses is long and should be worrisome for anyone who uses the service regularly, especially if large sums of cash are involved.

Audi doesn’t just make cars — it also toys around with experimental bicycles as well. Per The Wall Street Journal, Audi has unveiled a new bicycle called the Audi Sport Racing Bike that is incredibly light and weighs only 5.8 kilograms, or around 12.75 pounds. However, this light bike also comes with a hefty price tag of nearly $20,000.

Apple’s mobile payments solution is still only available in America, though Apple is expected to expand Apple Pay support to other markets. One major region for Apple Pay is Europe, and the iPhone maker might soon launch its wireless payments service in at least one European country sooner than we’d anticipated.

This is even better than the former Apple employee named Sam Sung. Nintendo this week announced that it’s hired a new vice president of sales named Doug Bowser whose last name just happens to be the same name of the iconic villain from Super Mario Bros. Nintendo is fully aware of how funny this is, which is why its press release emphasized that Bowser “brings decades of experience, not fire breath, to his new role.”
