Marking yet another addition to Netflix’s already impressive stable of compelling and original content, we bring you the trailer for Narcos. Set for release on August 28, Narcos chronicles the rise of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar and the U.S. Government’s extensive efforts to bring his reign of terror to an end. At the height of his power, it’s been estimated that Escobar’s cartel was earning upwards of $60 million a day.
The trailer looks pretty cool and further underscores Netflix’s ongoing commitment towards delivering some of the best original programming on the market today.

Jeff Bezos is laughing all the way to the bank. Amazon announced on Wednesday afternoon that its first ever Prime Day was a smashing success with peak order rates that “have already surpassed 2014 Black Friday.”

On Wednesday, HTC announced that it will be bringing four new models within its affordable Desire line of smartphones to the United States. The Desire 520, Desire 526, Desire 626 and Desire 626s will be coming to market later this year with quad-core Snapdragon 210 processors, LTE connectivity, Android L and designs to rival flagship devices.

Miraculously shrinking in both size and scale
When I stumbled out of the theater after seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron earlier this summer, I couldn’t help but think the stakes had been raised too high. As a Spider-Man and Daredevil fan, I’m better acquainted with villains who don’t immediately threaten to destroy the entire planet, but rather a city, a neighborhood or even just a few city blocks.
Don’t get me wrong — I love a good planetary threat, but the Marvel universe is so much bigger than the Avengers, and Ant-Man is, surprisingly, the perfect vessel to prove that.

Amazon’s crazy Prime Day sale is still going strong, and our master post has all of the details you need.
