Call it part of the burden of smartphone ownership: you simply can’t do without certain accessories. Paying $400, $500 or even $600+ for a smartphone is only the beginning — if you want to get the most out of your iPhone or Android phone purchase and make life as easy as possible, you’ll also need to buy several accessories.
Additional chargers are a must, of course, but buying OEM isn’t always the best way to go. And of course, there aren’t always any OEM options when it comes to portable power packs, so you’ll need to look elsewhere.

About 24 hours ago, Apple seeded the fourth iOS 9 beta to developers, which included several minor additions such as Picture in Picture support for video podcasts, an adjusted Handoff UI and the return of Home Sharing. Now that we’re a few weeks out from the release of iOS 8.4, it’s time to look ahead to the future of Apple’s mobile operating system. Back in June, Apple unveiled iOS 9 and announced that the update would begin rolling out to the public in the fall. Since then, we’ve seen four beta releases and the launch of a public beta.
As you might recall, Apple issued six separate beta releases for iOS 8, the last of which dropped in August — a month before the final public launch of the software. Providing Apple is working on a similar timeline in 2015, we’ve likely seen most of what the company has to offer in iOS 9 already, so we’re going to take this opportunity to round up all of the most interesting features we’ve discovered since the first beta rolled out in early June.

Have you ever tried to make a list of your ten favorite movies? It’s a difficult and time-consuming task, but it’s also such a subjective list that you’ll probably never find anyone who agrees with you. Earlier this week, CineFix shared a video of the ten most beautiful movies of all time, and although it’s still a subjective list, I can appreciate each and every choice.

For the first time ever, Apple is giving the general public free access to beta versions of its latest iOS software. The first public beta of iOS 9 was released earlier this month, and it gives Apple fans a chance to see what’s coming to the next-generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus later this year.
But if you want the latest and greatest Apple has to offer, the public beta isn’t going to cut it — you still need a paid developer account to access the latest iOS 9 betas as Apple releases them. Or do you?

It’s been more than a month since the season finale of this year’s Game of Thrones aired and fans of the show are still reeling over the supposed death of beloved character Jon Snow. As someone who is both a big fan of the show and the books, I remain highly skeptical that Snow is really dead in the same way that Ned Stark, Joffrey Baratheon and Robb Stark are. I’ll lay out all the evidence why I think Snow is still alive below.
