A team of treasure hunters scouring the waters off Florida last month recovered a $4.5 million bounty of gold coins – including several made for the king of Spain, Philip V, in the early 1700s, Florida Today reported.
The find – made July 30 and 31 off the coast of Vero Beach — was announced Wednesday by Bret Brisben, captain of the S/V Capitana. Brisben and his crew reportedly found 350 gold coins, nine of which are known as Royals and valued at $300,000 apiece.

BlackBerry’s first-ever Android phone is reportedly coming out in November but just about every mystery about the device has already been revealed months before its launch. @evleaks posted another leak of BlackBerry’s Android phone on Thursday and this time it’s a GIF of a promotional video intended to show off the device’s newest features, including an 18-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and a slide-out physical QWERTY keyboard reminiscent of the BlackBerry Torch models it released earlier this decade.

Microsoft’s Windows 10 is already installed on tens of millions of computers, but the free upgrade isn’t hassle-free. There are various issues and bugs that Microsoft has either fixed or needs to address in following updates, and then there are privacy worries that come with the free operating system upgrade. One particular problem for existing Windows 10 users appears to be the System process that can eat a lot of RAM. A few days ago, Jorg Sprave — who runs a popular YouTube channel you may have heard of — showed off a contraption that you might want to do your best to steer clear of. Sprave, who lives in Germany, somehow decided that it’d be a grand idea to to attach four scalpels to a Frisbee, effectively creating a terrifying flying device in the process. Fittingly, he calls it the Scalpel Blade Frisbee.
Though it should go without saying, do not try this at home! Actually, now that I think about it, you probably don’t want to try this anywhere. But Sprave is a unique fellow — as you’ll see in the video below — and, well, he decided to proceed full steam ahead.

One obvious reason that Windows 8 was such a disaster for Microsoft was that a lot of longtime Windows users absolutely hated it. To express their frustrations with Windows 8, many of these users either switched back to Windows 7 or changed computing platforms all together by switching to Macs. One such person was Vivek Wadhwa, the director of research at Center for Entrepreneurship and Research Commercialization at Duke, who fled Windows 8 in terror for Apple before giving Microsoft another shot with Windows 10.

There are a few easy upgrades that can be made to any laptop that will give it an instant performance boost.
