Tesla has already received an estimated $800 million worth of battery orders
When Elon Musk said demand for Tesla’s new home batteries was “crazy off the hook,” it seems he wasn’t exaggerating. Bloomberg has crunched some numbers and has estimated that Tesla has already taken $800 million worth of Tesla Powerwall and Tesla Powerpack batteries. Breaking things down a little further, Bloomberg says that Tesla has likely received just under $179 million worth of Powerwall reservations and $625 million worth of Powerpack reservations. Tesla has already said that it’s received 38,000 total reservations for Powerwall and 2,500 reservations for Powerpack, so figuring out how much revenue they generated is a matter of simple arithmetic.

Samsung’s Gear VR headset is now available for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge
We found out earlier this week that the Oculus Rift won’t begin shipping until early next year, but Galaxy S6 and S6 edge owners don’t have to wait that long that get a taste of virtual reality. On Friday, Samsung released the updated Gear VR Innovator Edition for its new flagship smartphones, which you can buy right now for $199.99.

Nike CEO teases more collaboration with Apple in the future
Nike and Apple have long had a strong and close working relationship. Not only did the two companies collaborate on the extremely popular Nike+running initiative, but Apple CEO Tim Cook just so happens to be a Nike board member.
All that said, Nike CEO and President Mark Parker recently hinted during a CNBC interview that we can expect even more from Apple and the sports apparel giant in the future.

The Apple Watch is incredibly accurate at reading your heart rate
Like many wearable devices that can track fitness, the Apple Watch can register your heart rate and record readings. Apple already explained the way its heart rate sensor is supposed to work by offering tips on how to make sure it registers your heart rate. Consumer Reports has further revealed the Apple Watch does an oustading job at reading heart rates when compared with the Polar H7 heart rate sensor.
