The Federal Communications Commission surprised us all earlier this year when it put forth new net neutrality guidelines that were hugely pro-consumer. Yes, there may be a loophole or two. And yes, some internet service providers are already looking for different ways to hurt subscribers that don’t violate net neutrality. In the current climate, however, we’re not sure a more favorable set of rules could have been crafted by the FCC and its former cable lobbyist boss, Tom Wheeler.

Of course, creating better net neutrality guidelines is one thing — but policing ISPs and ensuring they adhere to the new rules is an entirely different can of worms.

In a scathing review published on his blog, Arment rips into Apple for the design choices it made with the new laptop and he even expresses concern about whether the company has run out of ideas for improving its computers other than making them thinner.

Just a stone’s throw from Apple’s current home in Cupertino, California, Samsung’s San Jose Campus is a $300 million project that will house two main U.S.-based teams: Samsung’s research and development division, and its sales unit.

Well-known architecture planning and design firm NBBJ was contracted to design and help manage the project, and the company has just provided BGR with some stunning photos of the facility’s progress.

The Apple Watch definitely sold well eight out of the gate but does it really have much of a shelf life once the initial hype dies down? A new research note flagged by 9to5Mac suggests that it may not. KGI Securities this week made a massive cut to its Apple Watch sales projections by between 20% to 30% in Q3 2015. What’s more, KGI says that it’s cut its estimate of total Apple Watch sales for the year from the consensus range of 20 million to 30 million units down to 15 million units.

Spotify: It’s not just for music streaming anymore. The hugely popular streaming app announced on Wednesday that it will add video streaming to its library of content in a bid to compete with YouTube and other popular video streaming sites. In its announcement, Spotify said that it had already signed up several partners to deliver professional video content, including Comedy Central, Vice News, ABC, BBC, ESPN, Elite Daily, and TED. At the moment, it seems that these content providers will only be delivering video clips of shows, although it’s possible they’ll allow for streaming full episodes in the future.
