Every day I’m tempted to walk across the street to the Burger King outside of my apartment and buy a Whopper. I know, it’s awful, but cheeseburgers are delicious and it’s the closest restaurant by a block in any direction. Thankfully, I have the willpower to stay away most weeks, but if I were to wander into the Burger King, is there any way I could walk out without feeling terrible?

Google Maps is one of the most useful apps you can install on your smartphone, as it’s ready to give you handy turn-by-turn navigation instructions as soon as you need them. The same goes for standalone GPS devices that don’t require an Internet connection as it’s the case with Google Maps, to get you to your next destination on time. But there are things you could do to reduce your GPS dependency and actually find your way around, even if you’re in a new city.

Well this is downright clever. Samsung is developing a ‘see through’ truck that will enable vehicles traveling behind large trucks to see what the traffic in the opposite lane is like in real-time. This is accomplished by fitting trucks with a night-vision enabled and wireless video camera in the front and transmitting the footage to a large display on the back. The underlying goal is to help drivers keen on passing slow moving trucks make more informed decisions in moments where a rash decision could prove deadly.

Unless you’re flying first class, air travel can often be exercise in frustration. From cramped seating to mediocre, if not questionable, food, travelling via coach often leaves passengers counting down the time until they land. Naturally, the frustration is compounded on longer flights where boredom and discomfort tend to join forces to create what often amounts to a miserable few hours.
Thankfully, some airliners are stepping up their game and are providing travelers in coach with amenities that were previously only enjoyed by those lucky enough to travel in first class.

A 42-year-old American went berserk on a plane returning home from Rome, forcing the crew to perform an emergency landing in Ireland. All this happened because the passenger was unhappy with the quantity of airline snacks he received.

If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then it stands to reason that people who are highly successful eat quality breakfasts too… right? Well, maybe. Business Insider has posted a list of what 12 highly successful people eat for breakfast and most of them are exceptionally healthy. That said, we know at least one prominent example of a successful person who isn’t on Business Insider’s list that counters the idea that you need to eat well in the morning to be a success.

Samsung is supposed to launch a variety of Galaxy-branded devices later this year, including a rumored Galaxy S6 edge Plus and the new Galaxy Note 5 phablet. But the most absurd Galaxy S rumor we’ve seen yet seems to suggest that Samsung is truly scared of the iPhone 6s, although we personally have a very hard time believing this rumor is accurate.

Last week the Internet recoiled in horror when a man in California posted a video of what appeared to be a deep-fried rat that had been served to him at a local KFC. However, it seems that KFC got hold of this alleged rodent and ran some DNA tests on it and found that it really was just a piece of chicken that happened to be oddly rat-shaped.

In a mammoth study comparing mobile data speeds of U.S.-based carriers across various cities, Verizon emerged victorious more often than not. But the study, conducted by PC Mag across 30 U.S. cities, revealed that competition amongst carriers is closer than it’s been in quite some time.
In putting together its report, PC Mag said that it ran “more test cycles than ever before: 131,000 cycles over 30 cities and thousands of miles of driving.” In addition to measuring 3G and 4G speeds across different carriers, the study also looked at which carriers tend to perform better on a region by region basis.
