This week, a “proven” source from Apple’s supply chain sent Gurman a series of images showcasing the metal housing and the internal components of the iPhone 6s — the next major flagship release from the Cupertino company.

One of the most annoying issues with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is storage. Apple decided to keep the entry-level 16GB model for last year’s top flagships instead of making 32GB the base iPhone model. Apple just released iOS 8.4 on Tuesday morning and now, a few short hours later, there is already a jailbreak that’s publicly available. Taig, a team of iPhone hackers based in China, confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that the exploit utilized by its iOS 8.3 jailbreak had not been addressed by Apple in iOS 8.4. As a result, the team was able to repackage the same hack it used for iOS 8.3 to jailbreak iOS 8.4.
Now, the team has released an updated version of its jailbreak software to the public.

Apple on July 21 will post its earnings results for the June quarter and, as is typically the case, all eyes will be laser focused on quarterly iPhone sales. Because the iPhone remains Apple’s main driver of revenue, analysts understandably tend to gauge Apple’s future financial prospects by measuring and evaluating iPhone sales growth.
For the upcoming June quarter, Apple will have some lofty expectations to meet. During the company’s most recent quarter, iPhone sales increased by 40% year over year. Incredibly, it’s starting to look that Apple will even top that growth figure come July 21.
