Deadpool wasn’t even out in early February, and word broke out that a sequel is already in the works. A couple of months and $757 million later, Fox announced at CinemaCon that Deadpool 2 is indeed real, featuring Ryan Reynolds and the same team that worked on the first movie, including director Tim Miller and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

It’s now been more than two weeks since the FBI hacked the iPhone belonging to one of the San Bernardino terrorists and the agency still has yet to find any pertinent information on the device. According to a law enforcement official who recently spoke with CBS News, the FBI continues to analyze the data found on Syed Farook’s phone even though nothing of interest has been discovered. And given how long the FBI has had unfettered access to the device, it stands to reason that nothing on the phone will be of any practical use to investigators.

Via GeekWire, Microsoft has sued the United States Department of Justice and has asked a court to declare the government’s secrecy orders as unconstitutional. Microsoft says it objects to orders issued by the DOJ that say the company cannot inform customers when law enforcement officials are seeking access to customer information and data.

Canada experienced a very high number of reported UFO sightings in 2015, according to an annual survey released by Winnipeg, Manitoba-based Ufology Research.

Chris Rutkowski, one of the researchers that compiled the survey, told CBC that reported sightings in Canada last year were the second highest since the survey began in 1989.

There were 1,267 reported sightings of UFOs in 2015, according to the report, up from 1,021 in 2014. The highest number of reported sightings was 1,981 in 2012. Survey researchers note that 2012 was the year of the so-called “end of the world” event associated with the ancient Mayan calendar, potentially fuelling interest in UFOs.
