Despite the increasing popularity of Tesla, and despite the fact that even luxury automakers like BMW and Porsche have warmed up to the idea of EVs, Ferrari remains principally opposed to the idea. Not too long ago, Ferrari Chairman Sergio Marchionne said that the idea of developing a Ferrari without a standard internal combustion engine would be “an almost obscene concept” and something Ferrari would never even contemplate.

Thankfully, a company called Electric GT not only contemplated the idea, but actually put together an all-electric Ferrari. The team at Electric GT managed to find a 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS that was burned in a fire and was destined for the scrapyard, the car seemingly burned beyond repair. Seizing the opportunity, Electric GT rescued the car and swiftly got to work.

An abandoned winter resort in Kanin, Slovenia was recently taken over by a number of Red Bull sponsored snowboarders, including Marko Grilc and Red Gerard. With the ski resort seemingly untouched for about four years, Grilc and his cohort of snowboarders were able to have their run of the place.

“It’s just so insane to even be up here,” one of the snowboarders says at the beginning of the video, “and then at the same time to have all these features that we can ride on that you would never get a chance to ride in an open resort.”

Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man, sure has killed a lot of bad guys over the course of several Marvel movies. Not only has Iron Man killed people in his own movies but he’s also caused plenty of mayhem in the Avengers movie franchise as well.

YouTube user Mr Sunday Movies has done yeoman’s work by putting together a compilation of every single Iron Man kill that not only includes human opponents, but robots as well.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. But what if there was a kind of ice cream that could actually make you scream? The CrazyRussianHacker recently tried to make a unique brand of homemade ice cream by mixing whipped cream with liquid nitrogen. While this is not something that everyone should try for themselves at home, it’s definitely an interesting way to make ice cream much more quickly than through the tedious process you normally have to go through when making it.

Pentalobes are a totally proprietary, entirely awful type of screw used by Apple to make its products difficult to repair. I know it’s popular for Android manufacturers to be “inspired” by some iPhone features, but this is one thing I could do without copying.

You might want to think twice before you find another crowdfunding project with your PayPal account. Starting on June 25th, PayPal is updating its User Agreement to remove Purchase Protection on crowdfunding projects, which means dissatisfied Kickstarter and Indiegogo contributors will no longer be able to dispute charges.

It’s not uncommon these days to see new albums from big name artists launch exclusively on a particular streaming platform. Kanye’s “The Life of Pablo”, for instance, was a Tidal exclusive for a number of weeks before it ultimately found its way to Apple Music, iTunes and Spotify. More recently, Beyonce’s “Lemonade” album is only available to stream via Tidal, though it is available for purchase via iTunes. And most recently, Drake’s new album “Views” launched as an Apple Music and iTunes exclusive for just one week.

Tesla Motors and SpaceX aren’t Elon Musk’s only major transportation-related projects. In fact, he’s also working on a train system where passengers could be shipped between cities at speeds close to the speed of sound. Called Hyperloop, the train is a mix between the Concorde plane, a railgun, and an air-hockey table, according to the inventor. And while Musk might not be overseeing this one directly, the Hyperloop project is slowly advancing.

Long before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was even a twinkle in Kevin Feige’s eye, Sony was making its mark on the film industry with a series of outlandishly successful Spider-Man movies.

Starring Tobey Maguire and directed by Sam Raimi, the franchise helped to usher in the wave of superhero movies that are currently drawing massive crowds all over the world. But despite all this, Maguire didn’t make it to the MCU.
