SpaceX has had a really fantastic 2019 thus far, with its crowning achievement being the successful launch, docking, and reentry of its Crew Dragon capsule that is expected to be delivered to NASA for crewed missions sooner rather than later. Everything — well, almost everything — appeared to be going SpaceX’s way this year… until Saturday, that is.

According to NASA and multiple eyewitness reports something went very, very wrong with the Crew Dragon vehicle during an abort engine test at Cape Canaveral over the weekend. The engines, which are designed to push the crew capsule out and away from the rest of the launch vehicle if something goes wrong, suffered an “anomaly,” according to NASA. Images snapped by people close to the facility suggest the vehicle may have been destroyed in the process.

Samsung’s foldable smartphone has been making lots of headlines over the past week, and for all the wrong reasons. After several prominent technology blogs revealed that their review units broke within days (and sometimes hours) of use, it quickly became clear that the nearly $2,000 phone isn’t ready for prime time just yet. Now, a new report from The Wall Street Journal suggests Samsung is poised to delay the phone’s launch for at least another month.

The outlet cites unnamed sources within Samsung who claim that the high-profile device failures have forced the company to rethink its launch plans. Most of the reviews have been decidedly lukewarm, especially when considering the phone’s incredibly high price point, and very few reviewers are recommending that anyone even consider taking the leap.

We’re just a few days away from the Avengers 4 premiere, Marvel fans, but that doesn’t mean the Disney/Marvel marketing departments have stopped dropping new TV ads for the movie. Just like the previous trailers, the new ones include several spoilers, including confirmation that a significant MCU character has survived the snap and will appear in Avengers: Endgame. After a wait that seemed like it took forever, Marvel and Disney will finally release Avengers: Endgame later this week. It’s easily the most eagerly awaited movie of 2019, and its set to be the top grossing Marvel movie of all time.
