Instead of becoming the first foldable phone from a mainstream smartphone vendor to hit stores, the Galaxy Fold turned out to be a minor disaster for Samsung. The Galaxy Fold review units that Samsung sent to several media outlets ahead of the phone’s launched experienced several screen issues that prompted Samsung to postpone the phone’s launch in some Asian and European markets, before announcing the delay of the US launch. While Foldgate can’t be compared with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 battery disaster from a few years ago, it’s certainly an annoying development for a company that wants to be seen as a leader when it comes to smartphone innovation. A new report now says that Samsung is retrieving all the Galaxy Fold units that were sent out for review, which sounds pretty serious.

A trio of professional mountain climbers died in an avalanche at the Banff National Park in Canada last week. The three men, David Lama, Jess Roskelley, and Hansjörg Auer, were attempting a climb on Howse Peak, the tallest mountain in the Waputik Mountain chain in the Canadian Rockies when an avalanche caught them.

As CNN reports, the three, who were all members of the North Face Global Athlete Team, were reported missing after the avalanche and as of Wednesday of last week park officials could not locate them. After scouring the mountain by air and noticing “signs of multiple avalanches and debris containing climbing equipment” the group was presumed dead before their bodies were finally recovered on Sunday.

We’re in the homestretch, Marvel fans. Avengers: Endgame is right around the corner. The official premiere is set for Monday afternoon in Los Angeles, and the first spoiler-free reviews will be coming out a day later. Theaters in some markets will start showing Endgame as soon as Wednesday, April 24th — two days ahead of the official April 26th launch date. What I’m getting at is that you only have a few days ago of avoiding spoilers, whether they come from the plethora of Endgame clips that Marvel’s putting out, or from leakers who keep sharing plot details over on Reddit, 4chan, and other places.
