We still have almost five months left to wait before Apple unveils the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max, and iPhone 11R, or whatever the company ends up calling its iPhone XR successor. That’s quite a long time — nearly half a smartphone generation — but so many details surrounding the new iPhones have already leaked. Much of what we know can be attributed to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who remains the top Apple insider in the world. Kuo is plugged into Apple’s supply chain and shares all sorts of early details with his clients. He also shares them with a few Apple blogs, so we all know what to expect long before Apple releases new iPhones each year.
According to Kuo, the iPhone 11 series will feature a huge camera upgrade for both the iPhone 11 and 11 Max, while the iPhone 11R will be bumped up from a single-lens rear camera to a dual-lens cam. He also says Apple’s new iPhones will have new frosted glass backs and a few more subtle design changes. Of course, Kuo isn’t the only one who leaks information about unreleased Apple products, and a new leak supposedly shows us the final designs of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max.

Apple’s newest iPhone models are easily the best iPhones the company has ever released. They improve upon features from earlier models in nearly every conceivable way, but there’s one thing about the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max that’s much worse than any other iPhone Apple has ever released. While the new oleophobic coatings on the screens does a better job than ever at repelling grease and grime, it’s also insanely easy to scratch. In fact, people find serious scratches on their screens just from putting their phones in their pockets and pulling them out again. The TETHYS Glass Screen Protector for iPhone is the best way to protect your $1,000+ investment, and it’s on sale for just $3.95 on Amazon right now for all three new iPhone models. Definitely check it out.

It’s official, Avengers: Endgame is the biggest movie in history, after breaking all box office records this week. It’s also a spectacular superhero tale made possible by Marvel’s hard work over the past 11 years. But the film doesn’t deliver the perfect happy end some people may have craved. We knew going into this movie that controversial decisions and heartache await, and we got all that and more. We’ve already explained some of these controversies, including why the character arcs of Thor, Tony, and Steve make a lot of sense. It’s time to give Nat the same treatment — and she did have a fantastic arc in Endgame. However, there is plenty of criticism about the way Marvel handled the character. She did deserve a huge scene that we never got to see, and it’s not what you expect. But before we dive into it, we’ll remind you that some major spoilers follow below — well, Marvel has already started spoiling the film.

We’ve just witnessed one of the most epic weekends for entertainment ever. Not only did we see the conclusion of Marvel’s first decade of superhero movies in Avengers: Endgame, a film that grossed well over $1.2 billion in the opening weekend, but we also got to watch the best Game of Thrones episode in the current season. The battle we expected finally arrived, and what a battle that was. The war, however, is far from over, and the first trailer for episode 4 tells us exactly that. Mind you, massive spoilers follow below if you haven’t seen The Long Night.

Samsung may be about to launch a rival offering to compete with Apple’s forthcoming video game service, Apple Arcade.
That’s according to a trademark Samsung filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office a few days ago for something called “PlayGalaxy Link,” with a description in the filing that makes reference to “downloadable mobile game application software; providing online augmented reality games; gaming services, namely conducting online computer game tournaments; electronic games accessible through mobile devices.”

Avengers: Endgame is finally here, which means we know exactly what happens with Earth’s mightiest heroes after the heartbreaking end of Infinity War. It’s an emotional adventure, it’s funny, and it’s full of action and callbacks to previous titles from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s all you expect and more, and absolutely worth seeing in cinemas as soon as possible (read our spoiler-free review right here).
But, as expected, Endgame is also controversial with its choices, and some diehard fans might not accept everything writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have imagined, under the supervision of the Russo brothers and Kevin Feige. In the following post, we’ll tell you why Steve Rogers’ story in Endgame makes perfect sense, but not before warning you about the huge spoilers that are about to follow.

I haven’t actually done the math, but this may very well be the busiest week in Netflix streaming since we started doing this feature a few months ago. With the first of the month landing on Wednesday of this week, we are gaining (and losing) a ton of licensed content. Some of the additions include Austin Powers, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Scarface, Snowpiercer, and The Da Vinci Code, while Jaws and Watchmen are both leaving.
As for Netflix originals, Tuca & Bertie (from BoJack Horseman’s Lisa Hanawalt) has my interest piqued, as does Dead to Me and Knock Down the House. But whatever your tastes are, there’s sure to be something new worth adding to your queue by the time the week is over.
