Apple in late March unveiled its brand new Apple TV platform, which includes support for several stand-alone streaming apps, as well as its own Netflix-rival, Apple TV+. Weeks later, Disney came out with its own streaming service, Disney+, which will launch later this year. Unlike Apple, Disney actually revealed the price of its upcoming streaming package, a price that makes Disney+ extremely appealing. Add to that Amazon, HBO, Hulu, and YouTube, and it’s pretty clear the streaming wars are well underway. Apple, however, doesn’t see it that way, saying that it can coexist with the likes of Netflix, which is easily the most popular streaming platform in the world right now.

Avengers: Endgame needed only a few days in theaters to shatter all expectations, as well as many box office records. With a global haul of $1.2 billion after its first five days in theaters, Endgame is Marvel’s biggest movie to date, and it’ll likely make even more money by the time its theatrical run ends. Once again, a major smartphone vendor will have virtually nothing left to reveal at its reveal event, as Google’s mid-range Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones have leaked in full this week. First, courtesy of Max J., we got a look at the retail packaging for the Pixel 3a XL on Tuesday night, then on Wednesday morning, the same source shared the most complete list of specifications for each phone that we have seen on the internet to date.

As expected, these are lower-specced devices than the 2018 flagships that Google launched in the fall. Having had limited success competing with the likes of Samsung and Apple, it appears that Google is going to attempt to court a different crowd with a significantly more affordable device, but from a brand they know well.
