Man cracks his neck, ends up giving himself a stroke

%name Man cracks his neck, ends up giving himself a stroke by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

I’m not going to venture a guess as to what percentage of the population regularly cracks their necks, but I have to imagine it’s pretty high. A quick bend left and right is all it normally takes to produce the satisfying “pop,” and for most of us it seems like little more than a harmless habit.

Apparently that’s not the case, and the story of one 28-year-old Oklahoma man is a strong reminder that toying with one’s own spine can be a dangerous thing. A simple neck crack is all it took to turn Josh Hader’s life upside down, and he knew within moments that he had accidentally done some serious damage.

Tesla rolls out new software update with two brand new safety features

%name Tesla rolls out new software update with two brand new safety features by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Say what you will about Tesla’s underlying business model or Elon Musk’s various antics, there’s simply no denying that Tesla vehicles are some of the safest cars on the planet. The NHTSA, for example, recently said that the Model has the lowest probability of injury across any other car they’ve tested.

What’s more, Tesla, through the use of software updates, can make existing cars safer to drive than they were when initially purchased. In light of that, Tesla earlier this week rolled out a software update with two new features designed to make Tesla vehicles even safer. Specifically, the new features are designed to prevent drivers from inadvertently swerving into adjacent lanes.

%name Facebook’s Bitcoin rival might be used to power a massive online payment system by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We’ve known for a while now that Facebook formed its own blockchain team, and several reports said the company was working on a Bitcoin-like cryptocurrency that could be used for money transfers over its chat apps, like WhatsApp and Messenger. But Facebook’s crypto plans might be a lot bigger than that. According to a new report, the company is looking to build a massive online payment system that could rival the one’s currently in place.

SpaceX finally offers new details surrounding the bizarre Crew Dragon explosion

%name SpaceX finally offers new details surrounding the bizarre Crew Dragon explosion by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

It’s been well over a week since news first broke of a serious malfunction with SpaceX’s hotly anticipated Crew Dragon capsule. The spacecraft self-destructed during testing, and blurry video allegedly showing the failed test ending in an explosion drew a lot of attention. SpaceX chose to remain largely silent on the matter, describing it as an “anomaly” and leaving it at that.

When you’re building machines designed to take astronauts into space, and one of those machines explodes, people are going to want as much information as possible, and SpaceX just now broke its silence to offer a few more details on what may have gone wrong.
