When compared to Windows Vista and Windows 8, Windows 10 has been a runaway success. That’s not to say that Microsoft’s latest operating system is perfect, but it improved upon its predecessors in nearly every way and has only gotten better in the years since it first rolled out to the public. But nearly four years on, Microsoft has begun to look to the future and may have given us a peek at Windows 11 in a new blog post.

After offering a rundown on all of the latest Windows PCs from a variety of manufacturers, Microsoft Corporate Vice President Nick Parker changed gears to talk about the “modern operating system” that will power all these machines. Although he never mentions Windows by name, he certainly seems to be hinting at something big.

Determining which smartphone camera is best can sometimes be tricky because the timing of the test itself should be taken into account. Let me explain: because handset manufacturers release new smartphones on vastly different schedules, it’s not exactly helpful to compare a brand new smartphone against a device that’s been around for 11 months.

That said, May is as good a time as ever to put competing smartphone cameras to the test. At this time of the year, we’re still a few months away from new iPhone and Pixel models from hitting store shelves, which is to say that it’s still fair to compare them to fresher devices like the Galaxy S10+ and OnePlus 7 Pro. The hot, dog days of summer have only just now arrived, but already boutique New York-based airline JetBlue is trying to appeal to travelers who may have fall travel plans and who want to go ahead and lock in some savings now.

The airline launched a two-day “Type A” fall fare sale on Wednesday with lots of great deals and tickets as low as $54 for travel between Sept. 9 and Nov. 20 except for a half dozen blackout dates.

The International Space Station is one of the most important scientific laboratories on (or around) Earth, and it’s home to travelers from the United States, Russia, and other countries year-round. As such, upkeep is critical to ensuring things run smoothly, and trips outside of its protective are sometimes required.

Today, Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Alexey Ovchinin are conducting one such spacewalk. The trip is expected to last just shy of seven hours, and it’s already begun. You can watch it unfold live right here.

Apple on Monday will take the wraps off its newest software innovations that are almost ready for mass consumption. New iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS features will be unveiled during the main WWDC 2019 keynote, although some of the major updates coming to iPhone and Mac have already leaked.

Earlier this week, the first iOS 13 screenshots made their way online, revealing the iPhone’s brand new Dark Mode, as well as several other new iOS features. Thanks to a seemingly endless number of privacy scandals involving Facebook and other entities, tech users across the board have recently become much more privacy-minded. In turn, tech companies have become far more pro-active about empowering customers and assuring them that their data isn’t being misused or improperly stored.

As a prime example, Amazon today is making it a lot easier for Echo users to delete voice recordings that reside on Amazon’s servers. In a press release issued today, Amazon notes that Alexa users can now say, “Alexa, delete everything I said today,” and not have to worry about their voice commands living on for eternity. While it was previously possible to delete voice recordings from within the Alexa app, the new voice command streamlines the process considerably.

After launching four models of the Galaxy S10 earlier this year, Samsung is expected to bring two Galaxy Note 10 models to market later this summer as well. One will be the standard supersized flagship we’ve seen over the years, but the other will reportedly have a smaller display, one less camera, and a cheaper price tag.

Earlier reports seemed to suggest that the more expensive Galaxy Note 10 (model number SM-N975) would have a 6.75-inch display, while the cheaper model (SM-N970) would have a 6.28-inch screen. But if a leak from GalaxyClub is accurate, the display won’t be the only component to shrink on the cheaper model.
